Iced's ISO on MM is bad. I wish to make some controversial but important points on the nature of scumhunting:

1) Inconsistency and hypocrisy is not scummy - Humans are impulsive creatures. Players that are new to FMs are learning a lot and taking in lots of information, meaning their view is constantly changing. Some people are also naturally fickle.
Hybrid has also flipflopped a lot on what he has said. So has Spruance. But do you honestly think the scumteam is Hybrid/MM/Spruance?

2) Asskissing is generally not scummy. Using emoticons, embellishing your posts with platitudes, and such is usually indicative of a personality - not an alignment. Some players (and by some I mean Titus) may believe sucking up to people may get those people to townread them. But it doesn't. I myself often "asskiss" because I'm a beta suck up.

3) Slips are not scummy. I've also "slipped" several times this game revealling I'm "informed" that a player is scum or "informed" that a player is town. Sometimes we omit to preface are opinions with "I think". That's all.

Anyway, let pink represent inconsistency, hypocrisy and fickleness, let light blue represent asskissing, and let gold represent slips, and let green (sorry DWs) represent my annotations. Let no color (outside of quotes) represent points by Iced that aren't one of the above.



GJ to those who take the time to read ALL OF IT, including Marsh's posts, and think about it.

Iced should know the 3 misreading tactics are shit, seeing how I've fucking discussed them with him before. Which makes this ISO of misrep extremely scummy. He's pulling out every cheap shot to push this lynch.

This wouldn't be bad on day 1. It's just at this point in the game we're trying to have a levelheaded conversation about where scums are and he's putting everyone in argument mode. I felt the rage was sincere on day 1, but now I think it's a tool.

The arguments against Marsh, while not completely lacking in validity, are certainly not strong. The lack of nuance in Iced's attempts to figure out whether Marsh really is scum pushes me over the edge and makes me think he has an agenda.

It also makes me recant what I thought about him on day 1 - I think he was completely aware he was being too hard on me but pushed me that hard because the tunnel was a convenient chaos causer that would probably get overlooked.
