    S-FM Death & Magic

    Welcome to RLVG's S-FM known as Death & Magic.
    This game includes Spells, Debuffs and Dispels as a mechanic.
    There's also a lot of unique roles here.

    The Necromancer King has an ability to turn the dead alive, thus being a sort of Cult, but with odd mechanics.
    The Zealot is a weird magic variant of the Arsonist.

    Roles :

    Necromancer King :
    - The Necromancer King may target someone during night to attack them, if unprotected they will die.
    - When someone are killed by the Necromancer King, they will arise and become a Ghoul.
    - The Necromancer King can't arise Paladins and the Zealot.
    - There can only be 2x Ghouls alive at a time and the Necromancer can't kill while there's 2x Ghouls.
    - If the Necromancer King dies, so will the Ghouls.
    - The Necromancer King may alternatively sacrifice an Ghoul to turn the other Ghoul into a Lich.
    - Once a Lich has been created, the Necromancer King may no longer spawn any Ghouls but may conditionally still create liches.
    - If the Necromancer King causes a Civilian to be arisen, they will instead become a Lich.
    - If the Necromancer King somehow attacks itself, his attack will be nullified.

    Ghoul :
    - The Ghoul may target someone during night to cast the debuffs Confusion or Misdirection on them.
    - Alternatively the Ghoul may instead target a player every even night to see their role.
    - Spellcasters are shown as Spellcaster, Zealot is shown as Paladin, Monks are seen as a Civilian.

    Lich :
    - The Lich may either target someone during night to see who they visited and were visited by, or prevent them from acting (target is informed).
    - Alternatively the Lich may cast the buff Stealth and the debuffs Confusion or Misdirection.
    - If the Lich doesn't want to do either action above, they may instead target someone to dispel all the buffs and debuffs of the target.
    - The Lich may degrade itself to become an Ghoul instead.

    Civilian :
    - During night the Civilian may target someone, if the Civilian is targeted then their target will instead become the new target.

    Zealot :
    - During night the Zealot may target someone during night to give them the buff Protection, Thorns, cast the debuff Purge, or dispel all buffs and debuffs from a target.
    - Alternatively the Zealot may purge everyone who has the Purge debuff, killing them, or they may dispel a target from having the Purge debuff.
    - If the Necromancer King or the Paladins are purged, the Zealot is not revealed. If anyone else dies by purge, the Zealot is revealed.
    - The Zealot is informed each night who has the Purge debuff.
    - The Zealot is immune to one attack, including Purge.

    King :
    - The King may during day post -REVEAL to reveal itself, works only as King.
    - The King may during Night go to his keep, giving him full immunity from all attacks, buffs and debuffs. Works only once.
    - The King is immune to attacks during the first night.

    Paladin :
    - Target someone during night to dispel all buffs and debuffs from a target.
    - May instead target someone during night to see if they are Bad Guys or not.
    - The Paladin may not act during Night 1.

    Spellcaster :
    - The Spellcaster becomes a randomized Spellcaster role, as listed below.

    Cleric (Spellcaster) :
    - The Cleric may target someone during night to grant them the Protection buff.
    - Alternatively the Cleric may prevent someone from acting their role, works only on even nights. (target is informed)

    Magistrix (Spellcaster) :
    - The Magistrix may target someone during night to see who they visited.
    - Alternatively the Magistrix may target someone to give them the Stealth buff, works only once.

    Illusionist (Spellcaster) :
    - The Illusionist will automatically give themselves the Confusion debuff, unless if they debuff someone else.

    Druid (Spellcaster) :
    - The Druid may target someone during night to see who they were visited by.
    - Alternatively the Druid may dispel all buffs and debuffs from a target, works only once.

    Monk :
    - You're a Monk.





    Order of Actions :
    - The King goes to his Keep
    - Zealot's Mass Purge
    - Buff : Stealth
    - Roleblocking
    - Dispel (Confusion, Misdirection, Thorns, Purge)
    - Zealot's Purge debuff
    - Lich Degrade
    - Necromancer's Kill action
    - Dispel (Protection)
    - All other debuffs
    - All other buffs
    - All other actions (except of what's below)
    - Ghoul sacrifice
    - Lich Conversion



    Game Start :
    The game starts at Night 1, it'll be Day 2 after that.
    Night actions and night chats are allowed during Night 1.
    Players will be given their roles at the start of Night 1.

    Day :
    The Day lasts for 48 hours.
    Public Executon is available everyday.

    Night :
    The Night lasts for 24 hours.
    This is the only time when night chats can be used.



    Public Execution :
    - During Day, players may vote someone using [vote].
    - If a player has enough votes, the day will end and the voted player will get publicly executed.
    - The requirement for public execution is for a single player to have the majority of votes (51%).



    Targeting :
    - Players may target either self or others if it's a Buff, Debuff or Dispeling.
    - Players may not target themselves if it's not a spell based attack.

    Night Chat :
    - All of the Bad Guys share a night chat together, even in death.

    Last Will :
    - All players may create a Last Will which will be posted publicly upon their permanent death.

    Death :
    - Players that die will have their roles and last wills revealed in public, unless if they were arisen.
    - If a player has arisen from death, there will instead be an anonymous anouncement related to the necromancer.

    Anon :
    - Players are given unique identities in this game.
    - Players may not hunt for the real identity of players, they may not post guesses.
    - Players may not reveal who they really are.



    Feedback :
    You were given a buff!
    You were given a debuff!
    Someone prevented you from acting.
    The Necromancer has turned you undead!
    You will receive a new role. (rolecard beneat)
    You were killed.
    The following players has the Purge buff : (list)
    Your target visited X.
    Your target were visited by X.
    The host unlocks the game once all feedback has been given, a lack of feedback means there were none to give.



    Win Conditions :

    Bad Guys
    Eliminate all the Good Guys and the Zealot.
    There's no remaining Neutral Guys and the number of Bad Guys is equal to Good Guys.

    Civilian
    Survive until the end of game.
    Cannot win with the Zealot.
    Cannot win together with a Necromancer King who has 2x Ghouls.

    Zealot
    Kill all the Bad Guys and the Good Guys, does not have to be alive.

    Good Guys
    Kill the Bad Guys and the Zealot.



    Buff Mechanic :
    Buffs and debuffs last until the condition for vanishing is met.
    Players are informed of receiving a buff or a debuff if they have none, but not the exact kind.
    Players are not informed of receiving multiple buffs or multiple debuffs during the same night.



    Buffs :

    Protection
    - The Target is immune to attacks and debuffs.
    - The Protection buff will vanish after a two attempts of attack or debuff, or if it's dispeled.

    Thorns
    - When the Target is given a debuff, the one giving the debuff will also get the debuff.
    - When the Target is attacked, the attacker will also be attacked.
    - The Buff vanishes once it has performed a single counter action.

    Stealth :
    - Prevents the target from being targeted once.
    - After being targeted once, the buff vanishes.



    Debuffs :

    Confusion :
    - When targeted, the target will target the first one targeting them.
    (Example : Bob has Confusion. David targets Bob, Bob will then target David)
    - The debuff will vanish after a single confusion event has occured.

    Misdirection :
    - The target is seen as a bad guy.
    - The target is seen as the one performing a single attack if any attacks happened.
    - When there's multiple attacks, a random attack will be seen.
    - After two misdirections, the debuff will vanish.

    Purge :
    - The Target is targeted for a Purge.
    - The only way for this to vanish is to be dispeled.
    - When a target with Purge is killed by purging, they cannot be arisen.





    Rules :
    - Players must be active. The host determines what active is and what isn't.
    - No Action is allowed, but must be given as an action that No Action is performed. (Exception is Illusionist)
    - Gamethrowing is not allowed. (purposely throwing the game so your team loses, like reveal whole bad guys team)
    - Videos are not allowed unless under a spoiler tag, and the video must not have any sort of autoplay.
    - Pictures (still or animated) are allowed in moderation.
    - English is a required language to use. You may joke with a few words, but entire sentences can't be of a different language.
    - Players may not post material from private messages or material from night chats, may it be text or screenshots.
    - To the above rule, Paraphrasing is allowed in the context of feedback and your role, as long it's not gamethrowing.
    - Basic forum rules apply (harassment, excessive bad language, talking about a game during progress, et cetera)

    Patch notes and other stuff will be here.



    Thoughts so far, my goal is to have a strange cult based game with buffs, debuffs and dispel as a mechanic.
    I'm willing to change entire roles if it would serve game balance better, or maybe even add some in to balance it all out.
    If Anon isn't a good idea and disliked, I'll remove that.
