    I am trying out a new kind of role.

    Teams

    - Town 1 -
    Director
    Vigilante
    Sheriff
    Doctor
    Escort
    Bus Driver


    - Town 2 -
    Director
    Vigilante
    Sherif
    Doctor
    Escort
    Bus Driver


    - Neutral -
    Overlord


    Notable mechanics
    1. Two towns, each lead by a Director
    2. A neutral Overlord player
    3. Each Director can control all of the roles in his town to target any player in the game, though he does not know who is each role
    4. No one receives a role card or alignment notification other than the Directors and the Overlord
    5. 48 hour days
    6. 24 hour nights
    7. Majority lynch, if tied we can have two lynches. Why not.
    8. Graveyard reveals role but not alignment until a director is killed
    9. other rules coming when i remember what a setup needs


    Role cards
    - Director: Control the actions of every member of your town
    - Vigilante: Shoot a gun at night, you take a night off if your action kills an ally.
    - Sheriff: Learn the alignment of the person you target
    - Doctor: Prevent a target from being damaged, investigated, blocked, healed, or controlled
    - Escort: Prevent a player from going about their action
    - Bus Driver: Swap two players and all actions surrounding them
    - Overlord: Take control of a player, learning their role and alignment, and permanently preventing their Director from using them. You may also use all the powers of those you have controlled. You also have a 1-use auto vest. You also appear as aligned with a sheriff that visits you.

    Order of Operations
    1. Doctor
    2. Overlord
    3. Bus Driver
    4. Escort
    5. Vigilante
    6. Sheriff


    Win cons-
    Yellow Town: Defeat Green Town and the Overlord
    Green Town: Defeat Yellow Town and the Overlord
    Overlord: Defeat everyone you do not control

    Feedback
    " Your target was Player and you found a Green Town / Yellow Town "
    " You were swapped "
    " Your possession is ROLE, on TEAM "

    So how does this work?

    Pretend I am the Sherif on Team 1.
    A)I don't know I am Sherif
    B)Team 1 director controls my target?

    But I get the feedback?

    I also don't know which team I am on?

    The director is given a list of the whole team. What happens the director dies? Every remaining person on team gets control of their power, or they are now basically a gloried cit?

    They get the feedback, though i'll extend the description to tell you the player targetted (since Bus Driver could change the eventual information)
    So basically Sheriffs will learn their role on night 1 by virtue of being sheriffs.

    Yes, they are glorified citizens currently. I could hear some arguments for giving them their power, but currently im seeing the powers as being connected to the Director.

    And they could always hope for an Overlord possession.

    There are 3 teams.
    To win they need to defeat the other 2 teams.

    Good question.

    This will do nothing. Overlord will receive no feedback, which would match a role block non-feedback, or the effects of a Doctor on the target.

    Can overlords (and by extension doctors) bypass bus driving?
    Does the death of a director reveal only that director's color in the graveyard? Not that it matters, just want to know if the graveyard will be lemon-lime or lemon-bland.

    Doctor was intended to be a hard block, but I am looking at how I will reorganize it the OoO. I will be using a hard OoO though, so if something comes first it will blindly act first.

    If a director dies it will reveal his own color, but by doing that it will reveal the others. So if one dies it reveals the whole graveyard

    So this technically confirms that the overlord won't flip pink until a director dies.

    Hmmm. How do you think about directors revelling role, but it being clue until they die. Could be too much though
