School President

Bullworth Academy was not a typical high school. Its hallways were always deserted, its cafeteria rarely served anyone and the school itself seemed like a disused institute for any person passing by. This was not the result of the academy ceasing its activities, no. This was the product of a group of students instigating hatred and spreading fear throughout the campus. Their reign had to come to an end. The principals weren't going to allow anymore wedgies or stink bombs in lockers. Correspondingly, they established a system that would give the students an opportunity to overcome this growing issue: they set up a school president election.

In this new era for Bullworth Academy, you, a student of this prestigious high school, will get to elect a new school president everyday in hope to get rid of the bullies.

Beware though. One of the students is holding a grudge against everyone for being rejected since he joined the school. Electing "The Reject" will have some serious consequences.

Role Cards

Student

You're a disciplined scholar who respects his curfew. You do not have any night ability.

Students are excluded from the "Hidden Nerd".
Thief

You stole the warden's dorm keys! You can lock-in one person in his room every night making them invulnerable to being beat up. If the locked-in player is attacked, both the Thief and the attacked player are notified. Cannot self-target.

Painter

Swap the numbers of two bedrooms every night causing players to target Room A to instead visit Room B and vice versa. Targets are not notified. Can self-target.

Bookworm

Learn more about one person's alignment every night. The Reject will appear to be a normal student to you.

Naughty Girl

Approach a player each night and make them busy for this night. The target won't be able to perform his night action and will be notified of being role-blocked.

Lab rat

Place a bomb in someone's bed resulting in a kill. Max 2 uses.

Stalker

Follow one person each night to see who they visited.

Nosy dude

Target one person every night and see who visited them that night.

THE GINGER

Bite one person every other night making them inapt to be the school president for the following day. If the bitten player had the most votes, the second player with the most votes will be crowned school president.

Unibrow

Kill a player at night. One charge ability.

Guy who plays League of Legends

His vote counts for two when he is electing a school president.

Chad

Intimidate a person every night neutering his ability to vote for both the school president and the lynch. Can self-target. Can also perform the night kill for his faction.

Channing Tatum

Use your charm to seduce a player every night. The targeted player will be role-blocked for the night and will be notified. Can also perform the night kill for his faction.

Jimmy

Follow one person every night and learn who they visited and who visited them. Can also perform the night kill for his faction.

Timmy

Can perform the night kill for his faction.

Timmy is not excluded from the "Hidden bully".

Win conditions

School: Eliminate the bullies and The Reject while still having a member alive. Can still win if The Reject is elected president.
Bullies : Eliminate the school and The Reject while still having a member alive. Can still win if The Reject is elected president.
The Reject : Be crowned school president.

Order of Operations

1. Painter switches his targets and role-blocks.
2. Thief protects his target.
3. Night kills.
4. Chad intimidates his target.
5. Investigatives visit their target.
6. Votes are compiled.
7. The Reject does his night action.
8. A President is elected.

Mechanics

Game will start at Day 0 which will last 24h. The players will explain why they should be elected school president for the following day. They will also need to PM the host to tell him who they are voting for. There is no Night 0. Day 1 immediately follows Day 0. Days will now last 48 hours while Nights will last 24 hours.

A lynch occurs when a player has at least 51% of the votes. The thread will be locked once a player is lynched, but the day won't end.

The bullies will share a night chat.

All actions must be submitted to the host at least 1 hour prior to the night's end.

Special mechanics

A new school president will be elected everyday democratically (Minus the possible "Reject" interactions).

Voting the President:
Day 1 to Day X: Players will submit their votes for the next president to the host in a PM during the night (Must be sent at least 1 hour before night end).
Day 0: Players will submit their votes to the host in a PM during Day 0.

The elected player's vote will count for 2. He will lose his extra votes the following day.

A player cannot be elected president two days in a row.

Players can vote for themselves.

The votes will be in the following day's OP. They are not anonymous.

If The Reject is elected, a random School member will die. There will not be any other president this day. Think of The Reject as a "Jester".

The president's extra votes cannot be used to elect the next president.

Rules

1. No lurking. Inactive players will be replaced or modkilled.
2. Personal attacks are permitted, but crossing the "acceptable" line will result in a replacement or in a modkill.
3. @NeverUnlucky and/or post in "lime" if you have a question/concern for the host.
4. White is reserved to the host.
5. No OGC.
6. No editing posts.
7. Videos and pictures must be wrapped in a spoiler. PG 13 pictures and videos.
8. Only feedback can be quoted from the host.
9. Threatened/fake/real game-throws will result in an immediate modkill.
10. Do not /sign if you don't intend on playing until the end.
11. English only.
12. Spam is a no-no.

Question. How does the Unibrow's ability help him achieve his win condition? Having the ability to have nobody elected just means a day where the Neutral cannot fulfill his win condition.

I also don't see why the Reject wouldn't just reveal himself and offer to kill off a suspect of the Town in exchange for his election/ death. Every single faction requires that he dies so unless Town decided to lynch them, the Reject is almost guaranteed a win that way.

I would also make the Mayor's votes count for 2.

1.It doesn't help him at all. I'm thinking of changing his unique ability to one of the following:

Kill a player at night. One charge ability.

Send letters to other players convincing them to vote for you/another player. Max 50 words. One charge ability.

2. Good point. These are the possible nerfs I have in mind:
a) Reject can't select who dies. His victim is randomly chosen.
b) Have his election result in 2 deaths instead of one.
c) Make a rule preventing him from revealing his identity with some exceptions.

3. Seems more balanced, eh.


EDIT: Changed the Unibrow's unique ability, changed the mayor's vote count for 2 and made it so a random School player will die upon The Reject's election. Hopefully it will deter the School from electing him willfully.
