    Special Mechanics:

    Game Mode: Each night players select a game mode to take part in. These modes are "Escort, Assault, or Control" Depending on game mode will give players certain power roles. Which you will know on your role card.

    During Escort game mode-the "Defense" part of role card is the active part
    During Assault game mode-the "Offense" Part of role card is the active part
    During Control game mode-the "Support" Part of the role card is the active part

    Characters: Your character will have 3 parts to their role card as mentioned above. Only one is active at a time.

    Role Unconfirmed: Role list is the same for both factions. The only difference will be how you use it.

    Role Cards:

    These are the parts to your role card. You will have three sections.
    Example Town Role Card:

    Hello, You are aligned with the Town!
    You win when all the Omnics are eliminated.

    Defense Role:
    Detective
    Action: Target one player at night, learning who they targeted.
    You will show up as Mafia to Sheriff check.
    Offense Role:
    Citizen
    You have no night abilities
    Support Role:
    Doctor
    Action: Target one player at night, protecting them from attacks.
    Upon success the attacker is the only one informed of you succeeding.

    Example Ominic Role Card:

    Your allies are A, B, C, D
    You win when you and your allies control 50% of the vote.

    Defense Role:
    Spy
    Action: Target a player to learn if they performed an action that night.
    You can plant false feedback on your target instead if you please.
    You will be informed if it was a Killing/Protective/Investigative action.
    Offense Role:
    Mason
    Action: None
    You may speak to the other Masons at any point.
    Only if you are in the game mode your role exists in.
    Support Role:
    Vigilante
    Action: Target one player at night, attacking them.
    You can use a strong version of your attack which takes both charges and penetrates invulnerability.
    2 charges

    These are but examples of roles you can have in the game. There is countless possibilities.

    Lookout

    Sheriff
    Action: Check one player at night, learning their alignment.

    Action: Target one player at night, learning who they targeted.
    You will show up as Mafia to Sheriff check.
    Coroner
    Action: Target one dead player at night, learning their true role and last will.
    Journalist
    Action: Target one player during the day, allowing the target to write an anonymous message that will be displayed to the town the next day.
    Architect
    Action: Target two players during the day, giving them access to an night chat the follow night.
    You can post one starting post in the chat and you can read it.
    Spy
    Action: Target a player to learn if they performed an action that night.
    You can plant false feedback on your target instead if you please.
    You will be informed if it was a Killing/Protective/Investigative action.

    Armorsmith
    Action: Target one player at night, giving them a 1 use vest.
    You can give out a fake vest and waste no charges.
    3 charges total.
    Body Double
    Action: Target one player at night, dying instead of them if they are attacked
    If you succeed your role and last will not be published.
    Bulletproof
    Action: None.
    You are immune to attacks.
    You show up as Mafia to Sheriff
    Bus Driver
    Action: Target two players at night, swapping night actions done on each other.
    Your action can be hidden or informed of your choosing.
    Doctor
    Action: Target one player at night, protecting them from attacks.
    Upon success the attacker is the only one informed of you succeeding.
    Escort
    Action: Target one player at night, roleblocking them.
    Your targets are only informed if you chose so.
    Jailkeeper
    Action: Target one person during the day you will put them in jail, roleblocking them and protecting them from night kills
    You will also be given night chat with them.
    You cannot execute your target.
    Mason
    Action: None
    You may speak to the other Masons at any point.
    Only if you are in the game mode your role exists in.
    Mason Leader
    Action: Target one person at night, converting Citizens to Masons
    You may speak to the other Masons at any point. (If you are in same game mode)
    You have 1 charge of action. You can only speak to your mason if you are in the same game mode as this role card. I
    If your target is not convertible you will be informed.

    Spoiler : Killing :
    Swordsmith
    At night you may give a sword to another player.
    That sword may be used by the player to kill a player by stabbing them during the day phase.
    You can give out a fake sword.
    If you are omnic, you cannot give a sword to your teammate
    Fake swords will kill the user.
    3 charges
    Veteran
    Action: Go on alert at night, attacking everyone who visits you.
    If you are omnic you can only alert once.
    2 Charges
    Vigilante
    Action: Target one player at night, attacking them.
    You can use a strong version of your attack which takes both charges and penetrates invulnerability.
    2 charges
    Blacksmith
    Action: Target one player at night, giving them either a 1-use gun or a 1-use vest.
    You can give out a fake vest and waste no charges.
    You cannot give a real gun to your teammate if you are omnic.
    Fake gun usage will kill the user.
    2 charges total
    Jailor
    Action: Target one person during the day you will put them in jail, roleblocking them and protecting them from night kills
    You will also be given night chat with them.
    You can execute your target on non lynching days.


    Order of Operations:
    0) Pre Night
    a. Jailor/Jailkeeper jails.
    b. architect creates chat (will be blocked by jailor/keeper)
    c. journalist send article (will be blocked by jailor/keeper)
    1) Protective
    a. Vest used.
    b. Escort blocks
    c. Bus driver switches
    d. Body double protects
    e. Heal from Doctor
    f. armorsmith gives vest/blacksmith gives gun/swordsmith gives sword
    g. mason leader recruits
    2) Killing
    a. Veteran alerts (only kills those after in order)
    b. Jailor execution
    c. Omnic factional kil
    d. Vigilante shoots
    e. Blacksmith gun
    3) Investigative
    a. Sheriff checks
    b. Coroner checks.
    c. Detective/Lookout/Spy action
    4) Night Ends

    Rules of Conduct

    1 No outside game communication
    2 No editing posts
    3 5 post per day chat minimum or you will be replaced
    4 No videos or outside links.
    5 Use only green color for asking the mod a question.
    6 English only
    7 Do not quote outside mod communication.
    7 You can be subject to modkill/replacement if you break the above rules.


    Miscellaneous:
    Game is split with 72 hour days and 24 hour nights.
    Last Wills are allowed
    Suicide is not an option.
    All deaths except for day kills, will not give you indication of if it was a town or omnic kill.
    Game starts Day 1, theres a lynch Day 1.
    Majority are required for a lynch.
    Omnic have constant chat.
    Omnic have a factional kill that any member can perform and won't take up their night action.

    Lets look worst case scenario:

    Game Starts: 15v5
    Lynch townie: 14v5
    Kill two (First night): 12v5
    Lynch townie: 11v5
    Kill two (Second night, switched mod): 9v5
    Lynch townie: 8v5
    Kill two townie (Third night, switched mod): 6v5
    Lynch townie and game ends on Day 4.

    So this is 4 mislynches, and no other extra night kills.
    I don't intend to add any town killing either btw.

    Okay, I think thats all for rolecards.
    Pretty simplistic rolecards.

    Also going for a design of roles not confirming much. Sheriff nerfed to have a few roles that actually give false positives. Some roles have other negative utilities, like body double and lookout.

    Any thoughts to this would help....


    Need to do:
    Make a OoO
    Make feedback list.
    Then rule list/miscellenous I guess.

    Vote takes place in pre game and every night phase. Game modes can be repeated for each cycle if the majority wish it.

    Correct, if a person is checked twice by a sheriff in two different phases it might have conflicting results.

    I don't know too much about balancing but Sheriff already seems pretty weak in this setup to me. Which might be your intention (perhaps there will be quite a few of them due to the many players and the 3 parts of the role card?)

    The intention is to make it hard to confirm alignments. Though yes, in general Sheriff isn't OP in this game. I would like to give scum more option then to claim "BP" or "Detective" though if they were checked.

    Is it intentional that the detective and bulletproof roles show up as mafia to sheriff checks?

    If a person uses a sword during the day, are they revealed?

    If someone dies during the day because of a sword, is their role immediately revealed, or at days end?

    Does the jailors ability have charges?

    What feedback can the spy plant?

    Day/Night length?

    Is cause of death revealed?

    Last will / Deathnote?

    Is role revealed upon death? If so, what is the purpose of the coroner?

    Do the Omnic share a night chat?

    Are lynches mandatory, or optional?

    3) No, it is assumed that the game mode will not be static. I may adjust this before game start.
    4) Any feedback; I will make a possible feedback list soon.

    8.) Roles normally appear upon death, however some roles interfere with flips. (See Lookout)

    I will not comment on roles list any further, but it is 100% possible for town killing to exist in this game. So do not stick any value into that claim, as that was my original opinion of it.

    Yes, that slot is a town any so it could be 15-5 or 16-4.

    I am going to correspond with Cryptonic to discuss role list possibilities.
