Potentially, given that the Town still had a Mayor and a Vigilante with a single shot that could have prevented the Triad's victory.

Summary:

Player rolled Vigilante. Demotic is not active in the chat and decides to shoot #3 (Jailor) on Night 2, apparently under the assumption that the player in that slot prefers evil roles, and #4 (Witch Doctor) on Night 3. On Day 4, a player claims Witch and tries to vote up an Arsonist suspect. Demotic later asks the town to not vote as he wishes for the Arsonist to win. (town had 3 players vs 4 non-town players) He states his intentions to shoot #12.

When #5 votes up the Arsonist, he changes his mind. He asks the Triad to kill #2, while he shoots #5 and suicides. #2 had not claimed at this point, however, but given that he directed the Triad to kill a different player, there is clear intent to destroy Town's chance at winning. Regardless of the circumstances, there are few town-motivated reasons to coach the Triad on who to kill before actively taking out two town players.
