    Decisions

    [9 Players]

    Note: I am blatantly copying setups from MS and trying them out here.

    Mafia
    Mafia
    Chosen Town
    Chosen Town
    Town
    Town

    Roles

    Mafia
    - Informed of who the Chosen Towns are
    - Shares a night chat with the other Mafia
    - Has a factional kill

    Chosen Town
    - Receives a Town role card
    - Cannot be night-killed as long as both Chosen Towns are alive
    - Wins ties with the Mafia
    - Shows up as Chosen Town upon death

    Town
    - No night abilities

    Win conditions
    Town: Eliminate the Mafia and have one player alive
    Mafia: Make up 50% of the vote

    Special Mechanics
    - In the pre-game, the mafia can choose one player who cannot be Chosen
    - The two Chosen town members are randomly selected from the six remaining town
    - As long as both Chosen Towns are alive, they cannot be night-killed and win ties with the mafia

    Mechanics
    - Game starts on Day 1
    - Day 1 lasts 72 hours. Other days last 48 hours
    - Nights are 24 hours long
    - Lynches are mandatory
    - Majority vote to lynch (ends day)
    - If nobody has majority vote by the day end, the player with the most votes is lynched
    - Mafia has a night chat
    - No Last Wills or Death Notes allowed

    Rules
    - No out-of-game communication
    - No excessive personal attacks
    - Directly quoting PMs from the Host is not allowed (paraphrasing is accepted)
    - Spam or continuous off-topic posts are not allowed
    - Lurkers will be replaced
    - English only
    - Deliberate attempts to circumvent the rules are not allowed

    Ehhh, I don't like players not seeing their actual role card.

    Why not just have them be "town chosen" and get the card? That way it is actually decisions and mafia has to try to find out who is Chosen based on play...

    How would people on this site respond to being Chosen as opposed to Citizen? With lurking.

    With this mechanic, mafia has to lynch one of the Chosen Towns to prevent them from losing ties, which means they have to be strategic about their pushes in the day chat.

    If there's a tie, the lynch is randomised among the tied players.

    Are Chosen Town informed of being attacked while they have immunity?

    NVM I see that the Mafia knows who the Chosen Town are, so can't accidentally hit.
