Summary: During Day 3, when a player began to lag, each of these four players (blackhornet, MilkMan, Shazokan and ATPSynthesis) were actively and repeatedly disclosing in-game information in lag chat, including the identities of the Mafia, much of which turned out to be correct. A screenshot is attached for reference purposes.

Shazokan's lag cheating was particularly bad because he had been killed prior to Day 3 and therefore, there was no legitimate way for him to provide further information to the Town at that point in the game. He was also Sheriff increasing the chances that his information was in fact legitimate.

Although it was possible that the information revealed during lag chat may have been otherwise disclosed, it certainly did not help the Mafia's chances for that information to be released anonymously (i.e. the Mafia did not know who was revealing the information and therefore, could not target them). Eventually, the Mafia revealed in lag chat were lynched or killed.
