I was playing a game of Mafia on sc2 and after all the town died It was just me the mayor and the judge who used both of this court days. I was thinking that I would have won but it turns out the judge won over the mayor, even though the judge had no court dates left. And plus I still had 4 votes worth and would have been able to fully lynch the judge, and there was no way I would have been killed by a judge. And even if he called court I have 4 votes in court so it would have been who could click the other faster. So I believe Town should have won in that situation.

Why can't there be exceptions to some roles vs others? I'm pretty sure in reality Mayor would have word over the law.

Gameplay Town should always start the game with advantage of numbers so they should lose if they lose majority.
