    At night you may Attack a player. -1 hp

    At night you may Guard a player. Reflecting half damage to the attacker.
    At night you may instead Attack a player. -1 hp
    You share a private day and night chat with Ellie.
    You share a night chat with the rest of Joel's group

    You take only 1 damage from all non-killing sources for as long as you are above 2 health.
    You are informed if Ellie is attacked, or kidnapped.
    You will save Ellie from death once, at cost of 2 hp, as well as being role blocked.

    Ellie
    At night you may Observe a player. Informing you who they visited and who visited them.
    At night you may instead Stab a player. -2 hp to target. -1 hp to you if they targeted you or targeted no one.
    You share a private day and night Joel.
    You share a night chat with the rest of Joel's group
    You take half damage from Infected, and it is impossible for you to become infected.
    You start with 2 health.
    You are immune to exhaustion.
    If you are killed by David, you will instead join the cannibals, at full health.
    If you are executed by Marlene you will die, players may no longer become infected and take half damage from all infected.
    You are informed if Joel is attacked, or kidnapped.
    Tess
    At night you may Inspire a player. Allowing them to take an additional action tomorrow night.
    At night you may instead Scavange. Giving you a 60% chance of getting a random item.
    You may not inspire yourself.
    You share a night chat with the rest of Joel's group
    You start with 3 health.
    You will not harm Joel or Ellie.
    You will die if an infected targets you.
    If Joel dies you will join the fireflys
    Tommy
    At night you may Patrol your town. You will attack everyone that attacks your group (-1), and are informed of everyone else that visited. You start with two charges of Patrol.
    You lose 1 hp on Patrol if Earl dies.
    You will join the fireflys if Maria dies.
    You gain one additonal charge of Patrol every 3 nights.
    You start with 4 health.
    You take only 1 damage from all non-killing sources for as long as you are above 2 health.
    You share a night chat with everyone else in your group.
    Maria
    At night you may Recover a player. Restoring 1 health if they lost any. In addition you roleblock them.
    You are immune to exhaustion.
    You take no damage if Tommy is patroling and above 2 health.
    You start with 2 health.
    You share a night chat with everyone in Tommy's group.
    Earl
    As long as you are alive Tommy does not take damage on patrol.
    You take no damage if Tommy is patrolling and above 2 health.
    You start with 2 health.
    You share a night chat with everyone in Tommy's group.
    Ish
    At night you may instead Calm a child. Stopping them from crying.
    At night you may insteadRepair the sewers, reseting the counter for the amount of people needed to visit.
    You start with 2 health.
    You take no damage and cannot be kidnapped until 3 targets visited anyone in the Nursery (total).
    You are informed if a child is crying.
    You share a night chat with everyone in you the Nursery.
    Danny
    At night you may Calm a child. Stopping them from crying.
    At night you may instead Defend two children. Taking 1 damage. In addition to reflecting what the children would of taken back to the attacker(s).
    You start with 3 health.
    You only take 1 damage from all non-killing sources.
    You take no damage and cannot be kidnapped until 3 targets visited anyone in the Nursery (total).
    You are informed if a child is crying
    You share a night chat with everyone else in the Nursery.
    Child
    You have a max of 1 health.
    If anyone not apart of the Nursery visits you, you will cry.
    If you spend one whole night crying everyone will be informed who everyone in the Nursery is.
    You cannot use items.
    You take no damage and cannot be kidnapped until 3 targets visited anyone in the Nursery (total).
    You share a night chat with everyone else in the Nursery.

    Bill
    Every night you set a Trap.
    At night you may Scavange. Giving you a 60% of getting a random item.
    If you have 4 Traps at any time you gain permanent Night Invulnerablilty and cannot be Kidnapped.
    If anyone visits you while you have a trap active they will be roleblocked and have 1 damage done to them.
    You start with 2 health.
    You cannot be role blocked.
    You cannot take damage if you have at least 2 active traps.
    Runners, stalkers and clickers instead take 2 damage from traps.
    You may hold any amount of items instead of the usual two.
    Robert
    At night you may Supply a player. Giving them/their faction any amount of items. A message can be attached.
    During the day, select two items you wish to receive. You will receive them at night.
    You may not receive the same item for 2 nights in a row.
    You start with 3 health.
    You can hold any amount of items instead of the usual two
    You can use two items each night instead of the usual one.
    Survivor
    At night you may Scavange for supplys. Giving you a 60% chance of getting a random item.
    At night you may instead Defend yourself. Damaging anyone that attacks you (-1) and role-blocks them.
    You have 2 charges of Defend.
    You start with 5 health.
    You take 1 damage from all non-killing sources if you are above 2 health.
    Marlene
    At night you may Inspect a target. Telling you which faction they currently belong to. You are informed if you target Ellie.
    At day you may instead Kidnap someone.
    You may only Kidnap on days in which no player was lynched
    You can only Kidnap one player at a time.
    They are removed from any chats.
    They are prevented from acting, regardless of Immunity to role block.
    They are prevented from taking damage.
    You may anonymous interrogate them.
    You are informed if the target is Ellie.
    You may Execute them.

    At night you may Guard a player. Reflecting all damage that would be dealt to them, to you. As well as dealing 1 damage to the attacker.
    You start with 3 health.
    You share a night chat with the other Fireflys
    Runner
    At night you may Attack a player dealing 1 damage. If they die this way they become a Runner.
    You cannot use items.
    You have 2 health.
    You are immune to exhaustion.
    After 2 nights of being a Runner you become a Stalker
    You share a night chat with other Infected.
    Stalker
    At night you may Sneak Attack a player, dealing 1 damage and bypassing Guard and Patrol. If they are killed this way they become a Runner.
    You cannot use items.
    You have 2 health.
    You are immune to exhaustion.
    After 2 nights of being a Stalker you become a Clicker.
    You share a night chat with other Infected.
    Clicker
    At night you may Beserk a player, dealing 2 damage. If a player dies this way they become a Runner
    You cannot use items.
    You have 3 health.
    The first attack that deals more than 1 damage will instead deal only 1.
    RP name will not be revealed upon death.
    You are immune to exhaustion.
    After 2 nights of being a Clicker you become a Bloater.
    You share a night chat with other Infected.
    Bloater
    At night you may Bash a player, Dealing 4 damage.
    In addition you may also Spore Bomb a player. Dealing 1 damage to that player and anyone that targeted that player. If anyone dies this way they become a Runner
    Spore Bomb cannot damage Ellie
    You cannot use items.
    You have night immunity.
    If you are kidnapped and released you will kill your kidnapper
    RP name will not be revealed upon death.
    You are immune to exhaustion.
    You share a night chat with other Infected.


    Custom Mechanics
    Cannibal Hunger: Cannibals must kill a non-Infected (excluding Ellie) every night. If they fail to kill for one night, only one person may act. If they fail to kill for two nights, each Cannibal will lose one health. If they fail to kill for three nights, a Cannibal will die. If they fail to kill for four nights, all Cannibals will perish.
    Evolving Win Conditions: As the game goes on, and certain characters interact, win conditions for certain characters are subject to change.
    Items: Items exist in the game, these items are tradable between players in a faction. Each player can only use 1 item per night (unless said otherwise) and carry only 2 items at a time (unless said otherwise). These items have affects and each can do certain things. Items may be used on your kidnapper. Items are given to a killer on death.
    Health: Instead of a simple "One strike and your out" system, each player has a set amount of health, this health signifiys how many attacks that player can survive until death.
    Exhaustion: If a player has 1 health remaining that player cannot take action.
    Survivalism: A player may only win if he/she lived to the end (unless said otherwise)
    Game end: Game may only end when all factions stop conflicting.

    Items List:

    One use Gun
    Target a player with it, dealing 2 damage.
    Cannot be used in unison with another killing and or damaging ability.
    Expires after use.
    Bullet Proof Vest
    Put it on, making attacks that deal 1 damage do no damage. And attacks that deal 2 or more damage do 1 damage. (Does not effect Spore Bombs, Execute, or Bash).
    Will expire after 2 attacks absorbed.
    Cannot equip two Bullet Proof Vests.
    Pill Bottle
    Consume Pills. Either increasing your max health by one. Or restores all your charges for an ability. Your choice.
    Expires after use.
    Cordyceps Scanner
    Test a player, telling you if they are Infected, Ellie will be viewed as Infected.
    Will not expire.
    Medkit
    Restores 2 health or you or a target.
    Expires after one use.
    Conflicting Factions:
    Cannibals: May not win with Joel's Group, Fireflys, Infected
    Joel's Group: May not win with Cannibals,Infected or Fireflys
    Tommy's Town: May not win with Infected or Cannibals.
    Ish's Nursery: May not win with Infected or Fireflys
    Independant Survivors: May not win with Infected
    Fireflys: May not win with Infected, Cannibals or Joel's Group
    Infected: May not win with any other faction.

    Death Descriptions:
    One Shot Gun
    Cannibal
    David/Marlene execute
    Bloater Bash
    Runner, Stalker, Clicker
    Spore Bomb
    Ellie Stab
    All other causes of death

    Win Conditions:
    Joel: Survive with Ellie.
    Ellie: Survive with Joel.
    Infected: Have no remaining humans alive. (Does not have to survive)
    Marlene: Cure Cordyceps, and have no remaining infected alive. (Does not have to survive)
    Ish/Danny: Have two children survive to the end of the game. (Does not have to survive)
    Everyone else: Survive to the end.

    Evolved Win Conditions:
    David:
    If James died, kill whoever killed james.
    If Ellie is apart of your team, survive with Ellie, and kill Joel.
    Ellie:
    If Joel died, get kidnapped and execeuted by Marlene. (Only if you are not converted by David)
    If you are apart of David's team, Survive with David, and kill Joel.

    Order of Operations:
    0.1: Chats open
    0.2: Kidnapping
    1: Patrol and Guard Defend all activate
    2: Observe
    3: Items used
    I will random.org a number between 0-100, submit a number with your action, those that are closest to it will take place first. Ties will take place simultaneously.
    4: All other actions
    No longer applys
    5: Execution and release
    6: Role transformations

    Yea, I agree. An uninformed majority can be made smaller (51% instead of ~65%) if it has allies it can work with and still remain balanced & follow the definition of mafia.

    Every Faction shares a night chat with the exception of the Independent Survivors and Joels Group.

    Joel would share a night chat with Tess and a Day/night chat with Ellie.

    Tess share night chat with Joel.

    Ellie only shares day and night chat with Joel

    see where this quickly leads to? its basicly take out fireflies and infected and nursey can chose who wins from there

    p-edit: i understand the faciotna kills and everythign buy in regard to daychat/lynching. Just a forwanring overall, action may dicourage it but daychat/lynch is where it would be most broken

    Making a game of entirely uniquely named roles can definitely be broken by a roleclaim.

    Making a game of entirely uniquely named roles can definitely be broken by a roleclaim.
    The alternative is a game with unique roles but roles and alignments disconnected. So each role can be town or mafia.

    the thing with this is that its 5-sided and almost each faction and win with AT LEAST one other. so to balance it all factions would need it. and even then it would be broken.
