    Spoiler : Story / Setting :
    A colonization of people has left their home country in search of a new land.
    As the rise of a new empire grows, the citizen has their concern for the Government.

    The Government has shown ties to the evil Mafia and seek absolute control of the lands.
    Mafia will destroy any rebellion factions and disobedient citizen.

    The land itself is of mystery.
    As the Citizen become more aware, some of them are leaving the New City in order to explore the area.

    There's the massive Wasteland, The Desert and the Forest. Poisonous and dangerous creatures lurk.

    Will you free the world from the Mafia? Or will you become the twisted evil?
    Ultimately, the quest of evil is to eleminate the Players and City.
    To be good, you have to defeat all dangers around the world and help everyone.

    This is a Quest RPG of Progression. The longer the game takes, the more the world progresses too.


    Adventure Quest: The Mafia

    The players will be on a quest.

    There will be Primary Stats and Secondary Stats which you may pick in.

    For factions, every player starts as a Citizen.
    They may join faction on certain conditions which is to destroy the players

    Exploration :
    As each player explore the world, their findings will add detail to the Enhanced Map for everyone.
    Example : A player finds a temple in the desert, the temple appears on the Map.
    It's very rewarding to explore places.

    Players will be visible as the same color on the map, no one will be able to tell the identity other than themselves.



    Primary Stats :
    - You start with 5 points in each. You receive another 5 to spend. You can switch around the default points at start.
    Maximun amount of points you can have is 20, you get more points as you level up.

    Strength : Increased overall strength to the character, increases inventory space.
    Endurance : Increase Max HP, increased resistance to poison, wounds recover faster.
    Agility : Increased speed, allows acrobatics and increased reflexes.
    Intelligence : Increased overall intelligence to the character.
    Luck : Increased overall luck to the character, succeed chance increased and you loot a lot more.



    Secondary Stats :
    These stats will help you progress the game. The names are self explaining.
    Start default with 5 points, can pick two skills to specialize in (+20). Max skill is 75.
    More stats can be spend as you level up.

    Combat :
    - Guns (All ranged weapons)
    - Melee Weapons (All melee weapons)
    - Explosives (All explosives)

    Supportive :
    - Medicine (Ability to heal)
    - Repair (Ability to repair)
    - Engineering (Ability to use and build electronics)

    Passive :
    - Trading (Increases trading, sell more and buy for less)
    - Influence (Increases your diplomatic influence with NPC's)
    - Survival (Increases your understanding of survival)



    Player Default :

    Stat Default :
    - 100 Health Points
    - Warm (Temperature)
    - Healthy (Sickness, etc)
    - Rested (Sleep, tiredness)

    Inventory Default :
    - 100 Gold.
    - Regular clothing.
    - Combat knife.
    - Radio.
    - 2 sets of First Aid.
    - Enchanted Map.

    Rules :
    1. All actions has to be withing reason. You can't become the hulk and punch walls.
    2. The player may move 2 spaces in any direction, except when there's a town or city in the way.
    3. Three actions can be done per space, though the actions have to be detailed.
    4. The player may choose to do as he wish, like stealing from a shopkeeper or killing a random guy. (You'll get wanted)
    5. You're not allowed to quote from the host's PM's, but you can copypaste the PM's content.

    - The Town : Defeat the Mafia and cleanse the government.
    - Anti-Hero (if there's any) : Defeat the other players.
    - (Evil NPC) : Defeat all the players.

    We currently have 7 signups, though more is welcome as there's no limit.

    I'd like to mention however that the game starts at 5th January 2014, on a sunday.

    I'm less strict with actions, if you are not submitting actions then you're either idle or continuing to do what you're doing.
    Remember though, the chance of dying or anything negative is greatly increased if no action were given.

    Each round, you have three actions including a move. If you move to another square, you can't use an action there.

    For balance if it's player versus player, some actions counter, some action only neutralize eachothers actions.

    You'll get a Coordinate like A7, to see where you currently are at.

    There's multiple quests and goals which need to be finished, which reward players with money, exp and items.
    Exp is for levels, which is obviously is how players grow stronger. Levels are mainly only for statboosts and optional perks.

    I'm having a setup for exp : Quests 65%, Events 30%, Kills 5%.

    That would mean if I finished one quests and killed three monsters, I would have 80% exp, 20% remaining to a level.



    If you want to suggest a change to the system, I'm all ears.



    By the way, I'll add this : You're not allowed to quote from the host, but you can copypaste it's content.

    Actually, I was planning to do a Fallout RPG but I wanted to make my own version instead.

    So I wanted a game that starts in the Engineering Times, evolving technology to moderns and later.

    The Fallout Quest

    In this adventure, you're in the universe of Fallout as you continue the quest in the deserted wasteland.



    S.P.E.C.I.A.L :

    Strength : Increases inventory space, allows use of heavy weapons and armor.
    Perception : Makes your character more perceptive to the surroundings and what happens, increases Lockpicking.
    Endurance : Increases Max HP, Radiation Immunity, Poison Immunity.
    Charisma : Increases your skills in Barter and Speech as well a larger influence in other people.
    Intelligence : Increases your Skill Point gained per level, allows construction of devices, increases Science.
    Agility : Increases your speed, action points and stealth.
    Luck : Increases the amount of money and exp gained by quests, increases chance to win, increases Gambling.

    The default is at 5, during start you can add an additional +5 points and to relocate default points.



    Skill Points : (All at default of 5, maximal of 100. During start you can add Tag Skills [+15 Points] to 3 skills)

    Combat :
    - Guns
    - Energy Weapons
    - Explosives
    - Unarmed
    - Melee Weapons

    Supportive :
    - Lockpicking
    - Medicine
    - Pickpocket
    - Repair
    - Science
    - Stealth
    - Survival

    Passive :
    - Barter

    Basics :

    Karma : This is what determine the morale of all situations, interaction of players and the outcomes.
    - Evil : You're malicious and cold, no one trusts you and encourages good to attack you.
    - Neutral : You're neutral, leaning between the dark and light. No one understands you.
    - Good : You're the good kind of person, everyone trusts you and encourages evil to attack you.

    Morale Code :
    - Lawfull : You always follow the rules and law, adds +15 to Speech, Medicine and Unarmed.
    - Neutral : Neither Lawful or Chaotic, adds +10 to three chosen skills.
    - Chaotic : You're chaotic and never follow the rules, adds +15 to Explosives, Gambling and a chosen skill.

    Radiation : Certain areas are radioactive. Being there too long may cause bad effects.
    - Low Radiation 250 : You are feeling sick.
    - Medium Radiation 500 : You are feeling more sick, medical effects reduced by 75%.
    - High Radiation 750 : All stats reduced by 75% in addition to medical effects reduced by 75%.
    - Max Radiation 1000 : Death.

    Rested : You need to rest well and sleep enough.
    - Rested 1000 : Experience increased by 10%.
    - Tired 500 : You are becoming tired. All supportive skills reduced by 10.
    - Sleepwalking 0 : You are extremely tired. All skills reduced by 25 and all S.P.E.C.I.A.L. by 3.

    Caps : Bottle caps from old bottles. It is used as the currency and money.

    Bleeding : You are bleeding and are losing health depending on how fatal it is.

    Infection : Sickness like Flu and Viruses. May be fatal, can be spread, requires attention of a Doctor.



    Limbs : These are your arms, head and so. They can be crippled and require attention.
    - Head : While crippled, reduces eyesight and reduces intelligence by half.
    - Arms : While crippled, reduces the stability of using weapons and strength by 1 per arm.
    - Legs : While crippled, reduces your speed by half, reduces agility by 1 per leg.

    Other effects : Can happen, like a limb being permanentally blown off if careful or a missing eye.



    Start Perks : You can pick two options during the start, or pick none. Beneficial and disadvantageous.

    Heartless :
    - Your heart has been replaced by an advanced mechanical one. You are immune to poison, healing reduced by 75%.

    Evil :
    - You are evil in heart. Your Karma will be locked at Evil, granted more Evil options and Good actions is removed.

    Good :
    - You are good in heart. Your Karma will be locked at Good, granted more Good options and Evil actions is removed.

    Drug Addict :
    - Chemical negative effects are removed and will only benefit them. Massive negative effect upon not receiving Chems.

    Genius :
    - You're a genius. Grants double experience points, but at cost of -1 of all S.P.E.C.I.A.L except of Intelligence.

    Tough Guy :
    - Your limbs take 75% less damage, though you move 25% slower.

    Alcoholic :
    - Reduces intelligence by 2 points, though consuming Alcohol increases Charisma by 4.

    Bisexual :
    - Allows unique interactions with both genders and increases damage against them by 25%. Many will be creeped out.

    Pacifist :
    - Reduces all combat skills by 75% of their current points, increases Passive by 50% and Supportive by 25%.

    Ninja :
    - Increases Stealth, Pickpocket and Lockpicking by 50. Reduces strength by 3.

    Schizophrenic :
    - Mentally disturbed. Unique dialoges, different puzzles and unique ways of solving things as well more obscure.

    Scrooge :
    - Inventory space doubled, decreases Agility and Luck by half of the current points. Barter increased by 25.

    Leader :
    - You lead an unique faction. Factional members and the leader gain a 25% boost to Experience, difficulty doubled.



    Starting Equipment : You must pick a set of a starting equipment.

    1. 9mm Gun w/ 20 ammo, leather armor.
    2. Katana, 5 stimpacks, leather armor.
    3. Laser Pistol w/ 20 ammo, metal armor.
    4. 10 stimpacks, 10 lockpicks, regular clothes.
    5. 10 dynamites, Shotgun w/ 5 ammo, regular clothes.

    All receives this : A pair of sturdy leather gloves, two ropes, a backpack, a combat knife and a Radio.





    Weapon Types :

    Single Hand Gun (Revolver, Handguns, etc) :
    Weights less, deals less damage, smaller range, can be easily hidden.

    Medium Guns (Rifles, Shotguns, etc)
    - Weights more, deals more damage, medium range, easier to hit an armored target.

    Laser :
    - Uses Energy Ammo, tears soft targets (unarmored) but fails to hit armored.

    Plasma :
    - Uses Plasma Ammo, shoots very slow though the damage is great and can hit all targets.

    Explosives :
    - More difficult to find. Can be thrown and cause an Area of Effects. Brutal damage.

    Unarmed :
    - Not the best idea, though it is stealthy and allows strangling, knock outs and etc.

    Melee Weapons :
    - Swords, or anything used to attack in close range. Different effects by different melee weapons.




    Quests : Each quest is different, though these listed are the Primary Ones. Optional ones may be generated.



    Starting :

    The Inn :
    - A leader of a faction is recruiting in order to deal with his major task.

    Captured :
    - You were captured by the Enclaive and they are "subtly" recruiting you to their cause, with an explosive collar.

    The Vault :
    - You're in a vault, though the experiment has gone well - the age do not. Anarchy has risen and you need to escape.

    Independant :
    - You are randomly generated to a location, no starting quest has been initiated.



    Primary :

    The Prism Fang :
    - The raiders has become Organized, calling themselves the Prism Fang. End this faction!

    The Enclave :
    - The Enclave has grown too strong and is attempting to control all of the wasteland. Stop them!

    The Enkindled :
    - A cult has risen, taking all technology they can find and remove it. Stop them from growing.

    Mr. Jaoan :
    - A man naming himself Mr. Jaoan, has entered this wasteland. His goal is to purify the wastelands. Help him?

    Omnicidal :
    - You are a malicious person who seek destruction of the world. Your goal is to find a way to destroy it!

    The Emperor :
    - You are attempting to usurp the leadership of all groups, attempting to create a rebellion and name yourself Emperor.

    The Universe :
    - You are tired of this planet and has decided to find a new planet. But how?

    The New Overlord :
    - The new overlord has caused the union of Super Mutants and Night Kin. An union only, can be the start of a war?

    Custom Primary :
    - The player can decide upon a quest as long it is withing reason and possible.

    Year 1270 : The end of the Mafia Cycle.
    After much bloodshead and violence, the mafia era has finally ended. But not with a great cost. Their King.

    Year 1271 : The Rebellion started.
    Without a king to rule the lands a huge rebellion started to break out, people were fighting for land and who owns what.

    Year 1272 : The revival of the Mafia.
    Soon, many lords and decided to team up and begin the mafia cycle anew.

    Year 1273 : The colonization.
    The war against the Mafia were difficult times and the human society were broken up in fractions.
    After a political discussion, it were agreed on that a large group of people left their country out in the wide world to search for a new land.

    Year 1274 : The founding of the land.
    The adventure took nine months, over the deep seas. Finally, the colonists settled down and started to build their city. As the city took shape, they needed a leader and thus a king were crowned.

    Year 1275 : Mafia Conspiracy.
    Rumors fly by, some have speculated that there's Mafia that is on the watch over the city. Everyone were paranoid.
    Most sources confirmed that there werren't any Mafia around.

    Year 1300 : The crowning of a new king.
    Because of the death of our dear King, we had to crown our Prince. Due to conspiracy that he may have ties to the Mafia, the people is in paranoia though there was no definitive evidence for that.
    One thing is for sure though, there were evidence of Mafia activity in the city.

    Year 1319 : The Terror Action.
    The Terrorist has exploded one of the City's tower, entire city screaming in confusion and despair.

    Year 1320 : The current times.
    This is when our story starts, over fifty years since the Mafia Incident.


    The Handy-Dandy Radio's Manual says the following :

    "You can only have one channel to listen to at a time. You can also transmit and broadcast messages to another person with the code of their radio!

    The default is the global news-cast who tell only the truth, everyone's creeped out that it know instantly when something happens.
    - Default code : 101."

    Actions can be posted either on this thread, or in PM. It would be a disadvantage in PvP situations, or secret plots however.

    You can only move one coordinate at a time per round, though you can move two spaces in any direction including the corners.
    Example is that you're in the middle, you can pick all eight spaces around you - with buildings and some places as an obstacle.

    Rounds in real time, they can last from 24 to 78 hours depending how active all players is and / or if I become busy. I try to keep it less than 48 but I'll be fair to give all a chance to submit actions.

    In addition : There's a cycle for the time. Morning, Day, Noon / Evening / Dusk, Night. They last between two to five rounds.

    I suspect that they are the Terrorist, and I am afraid...

    What are the Towers for? City defense?
    Are the Towers known to be occupied and in use? Or are they supposedly abandoned areas?
    Are there supposed to be any guards in the Towers?

    I'm not good at sneaking and running. And echoes go both ways. To decide on the next course of action...

    Is it noisy in the Tower due to the heavy rain?
    Am I wet and drenched?
    How far is the nearest house?
    Can I contact the city guard / police / call for help with my radio?
