Looks like Faldorn is roleplaying shadow druid vs Jaheira the vanilla druid. But the troll is none the wiser. I wonder how many more people will use their characters' backgrounds from BG to WIFOM stuff. The character class and role differences might come into play for some.
I wish I knew these things about BG specifically, but I have noticed hints to backgrounds already, even without this. You will have to keep me up to date, however :P
I'm also keeping some stats, simply for a fun sort of database later.

And I will be adding other things to this list later.
Shar-Teel hating on men, Quayle claiming magic user because he is one, Kivan calling out the boss (Sarevok) of the guy who killed his wife (Tazok) for being scum and soft-claiming both ranger and citizen.
Some of these subtleties are quite nice
And backlash from Yoshimo after I deleted a part of his code... Warranted of course, but it's better to clear this now before more people want to make codes that detract from the game by expecting others to spend time searching elsewhere on the world wide web.
Harper Agent Xzar defending Assassin Mazzy from a horde of Adventurers <3
The reasoning is fair, though.
It was tempting not to answer that question about the codes/clues. People were trying so hard to solve them and now folks probably won't bother anymore.
Very astute of Haer-Dalis that he discerned Safana's "clue" might mean there's a doppelganger in the game.. I didn't see it, but because the clue came from the doppelganger themselves, that might be exactly what was intended. She can scare others with the thought relatively risk-free, because she still has 5 nights to jump to another identity while she's immune. And chances are she'll use one charge during that time.
I received a PM in which Shar Teel describes her thought process thus far.
She's quite right seeing that Edwin isn't scum at all and she has found herself a formidable position in day chat, but her understanding of the prophet's importance on the other hand is strangely lacking. No night action? Lass.. the guy recruits members for you!It has been an interesting day so far.
I'm thinking the group wouldn't likely solve the puzzle in the early going of the game. Right now, I am in the position of being the Godfather realistically. Yeah there's the lynch immune, night kill immune, trap immune member but he has no night action. I can make our assassins into a misdirection army.
There is the possibility of the thief solving the puzzle n1, but I just don't buy it. Plus, there are many explorers (read: assassins in training) to recruit to get back up to three. I'd rather have the possibility of a misdirection.
In a normal game of this size, the first role I would take is spy/consigliere. Yet, with no method to communicate to the other members, this is a much weaker role right now. I'd rather cause chaos with an Arcane Trickster and Graverobber.
I'd look and see who is the most town out of those two assign the roles. If I can only assign one, I'd take the trickster first. Feedback from roles not in the game is always confusing and would cause the town to focus more on the setup than finding us.
I plan on claiming student if ever cornered in the early game. I can then change myself into another role and another role into the Quartermaster if I ever get forced to pick someone.
Cernd reads like a player I've played with before. Gut says Orpz atm.
Jahiera screams ika with that avatar. Yet, he's apologized for inactivity when not really inactive suggesting he's faking my com as well.
Edwin seems to be playing a lot like Slaol. Odd considering Slaol is one of the hosts. I don't think he's scum at all but I'll be glad for a mislynch.
I think I am in a decent position right now and could possibly draw a doctor heal, especially if I am wrong about Edwin.
I am also finding it odd that Heartwarmer was mentioned earlier on. That doesn't seem like something people would naturally gravitate to, unlike only one of the two "Framer" neutral kills being in the game.
Overall, the cult is in a good position if we can get the town to bicker over if a Arcane Trickster/Graverobber is in the game not realizing they are both there.
She also can't change her role and then change someone else's. Her performance in building trust and reading people seems pretty good right now, but her understanding of the mechanics is not.
If people knew who Keldorn was, they would understand that he's trying to get into Heartwarder chat so he can help solve 2 puzzles at once. Fun times.
Funniest quotes from the puzzle chats tonight:
A cultist hinting at a Bhaalspawn that he is a Bhaalspawn ("unless there are two barbarians"). Little did he know that his identity will actually be taken by the doppelganger if all actions are unchanged. So he will have told the truth.
They sure are.. by killing 3 cultists in one night. In addition to a double hit on Mazzy by a trap and a bounty hunter.
^The above is from night 3, by the way.
