I'm in the process of adding lots of roles to the list. After we finish the possible role list we will choose roles to fill the actual game with. These will be randomized and sent to players soon after the conclusion of the FM3.

Suggestions: Add enchantress, take out armorsmith. Add forger for mafia, take out at least 2 roles? Not sure why you have a vigilante with a gunsmith around.

1 citizen? Really? What's the point of masons with just one citizen around? Cult is a bit too powerful here, and revolutionists will need citizens to recruit as well.

Town starts off without a majority. It is very unlikely the 9 person mafia team will lose this tbh.

This needs lots of balance work, but I like the roles you picked so far.

If you can't seem to find the reason for your removal in this topic with just over 100 replies, how on earth are you going to be able to keep up with about 2000+ replies each day? Seriously please read the other posts before posting yourself. Only exception to this rule should be when people post at the same time.

You were dropped because I went up the list(from the bottom). Anyone who wasn't in a previous FM was removed in order.

I added Inca because he PMd me well before half the other people did and asked for a spot. I didn't notice the PM until after I made the cut and had to cut an extra person.

You're on reserve. Even though the reserve list is partially random you may find yourself in the game sooner or later.

I'm telling elixir right now that this game could use some more people and you'll see why after this game. The way we are working this out it'll be much more managable with more people and for people who don't have a lot of time to siphon through 100 pages of 5000 word essays.

Forum mafia is in a constant state of evolution and we believe this game is taking it to the next level not only with suggestions, but the anonymous forum and the way the game will play out.

I STRONGLY suggest people start thinking up amazing forum mafia based ideas for roles. Almost anything is possible in the forum mafia situation and it'd be nice to get some diversity to the different games.

I personally will only consider roles with enough effort that they are put on the interesting roles catalog by FalseTruth. Sometimes I see some neat roles on there, but none are fully polished off.

If someone suggests a forum mafia version of some epic mafia roles that I can see being helpful then maybe I'd use them.

Again this is only me. Elixir might use only epic mafia roles. I prefer more SC2 based Mafia. You will see the playstyle of the player highlighted in the role list since we all add our own little touch to the setups. Goon is known for balance and I'd say this last game was pretty god damn balanced in terms of chance of winning and reward of winning.

If you are a SK and you won you feel extremely accomplished since you had the odds against you, yet he still won because of the way the game was designed. My setup is more closed, random, and I hope fun. I don't mind it being balanced or unbalanced as long as the majority of people have fun.

You'll see after this game. I'm partial to bigger games though. I've built the role cards from scratch, Oops has made an entire forum up and running, and we've done all the randomization all in a day. The amount of players isn't overwhelming at all.

I'd also hate for a split game and have one game be extremely fun and being left out because I was in my own game doing boring stuff.

Pretty much Auckmid there will be pre-determined random named accounts. You will just get access to a new password for that account and you'll take over that player. No one will know that you are the one that took over the body, but will know that a swap was made with that player.

You don't really have to keep track of people, just one at a time. Once you know who is mafia, it should be a fast lynch. If there is no more ideas, then look back and find another lead. Once people start piecing peoples roles together, it becomes a team effort, but I highly recommend keeping a notepad or other doc open with confirmed roles so you don't get mixed up.

9 possible neutral roles. We don't know how many will be in the game.
It's like in SC2, we have a bunch of role possibilities but not everyone of them makes it into the game.
Example: very few SC2 mafia games have vigilantes now.
