    Activitist

I remade this suggestion according to
    https://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/showth...482#post303482

    Role name: Activitist (or lobbyist?)

Description: You are a guy consists of efforts to promote, impede, or direct social, political, economic, or environmental change, or stasis.(from wiki)

    Alignment: Town (Power)

Abilities(unique): Visit a person and effect their vote on certain target for the rest of game
(a panel like witch should do the job)
    1) All Neutral will vote as you asked.
2)** Town will receive a message as you suggested, if a town player is going to abstain, he will vote as you asked!
    3) Mafia will see your identity and discard your message.

    Win Condition: Town Victory

    Host Options:
    1) Target will likely vote innocent
    2) Target will likely vote Guilty
    3) Target will likely abstain
    (can only choose one)
    4) Excluding from all possible random slots
(In case host want a none trial setup)

    Pros:
    Easily direct games
    Resistance to abstainers, afkers etc.
Encourage skills of survive. (this role become more powerful in late game)
Resistance to scum : it is a role hardly ruin any game.
    Strong against neutrals.
Has ability to invest target's factions.

    Cons:
    Less useful in secret bulletin.
This role strongly rely on player's experience and skill to make a difference.
Its effect last after death, so if Activist made crucial mistakes, things may getting worse.
This role has an above-average ability to defend itself in trial. (it can testify the prompt)
As a Priory target, activist is Vulnerable to all killers.

Overall effect on the metagame if implemented:
It is a power town, so the chance of mayor, mason leader, jailor become less.
It will make late game more fun.
This role prevents afkers and scums from ruining game.

    Additional comments:
This role requires trial is on to be actually useful.
Evils usually nail its win after slaughter all active voters.
Some people like me love neutral setups can now add more neutrals for this role's existence.
Personally suggest pairing with current jester : With a Lot of Charisma.

    Strategy:
Basic - Push trails and watch votes.
Advanced - Push SK vote guilty on jester, etc.

When we talked about pubs, we are talking about us.
When they talked about pubs, they exclude themselves.
They say only bad players want to modify citizens, and they do not satisfy bad players.
Are we bad players? We include bad players, but that is just a part of us.
---They put veteran, mayor, allowed jester to visit for nothing, and they regretted and say those things are brainless.

    Re: Activitist

    say,

in day 5 or 6, active town members are no longer majority -- all left are trolls, liars, half-smart players.

Town, though still the biggest faction in game, can not vote up anyone due to afker, noob and trolls.

I am not saying there are nothing can be done, but often it is trash time from that point on.

People lost confidence of winning the game, or simply do nothing sit and rot.

---some host claim they put hella a lot vet and vigi in save for such situation. I think otherwise.

True that. I agree. Rarely see but it is a critical flaw I didn't mention in suggestion.

I personally think you are the only smart one who points that out.

How about I add a excluding option in host option?

Still a better role than Crier?

If the night is only 5 seconds long...

    The role is fixed.
