    SC2 Mafia Voting Patterns

What are the common voting patterns that people use in mafia?

    For example,
-mafia usually never votes for mafia.
-scum usually tries to get a mislynch.

anything else, or can other people elaborate?

i'm getting all the logic together, so i can build another program similar to what i did in FM 17

    please and thank you!

-this can apply to non sc2 games as wel

    FM XVII: Bonney Jewelry (Journalist)
    FM XVIII: Kalou (Savage Godfather)
    FM XX: Joseph Bertrand (Marshall)
    FM XXI: USA (Escort)

    Re: SC2 Mafia Voting Patterns

i avoid voting alltogether unless im acqusing people.

when im a neutral killer ill always side with the town vote guilty against anyone at all.

when im maf i always vote guilty against my partner early game, but late game ill vote inno due to number of votes

when im town i always vote guilty if no role, and inno if they claim any town role at all, if they claim neutral i abstain, if they claim an impossible role i guilty

if im neut benign i troll hardcore

when im scum i dont try to give false leads or get others lynched, i just try to support what other people say without actually claiming anything myself.

like ill say things - "that makes sense" "this person could be telling the truth, he could also be exec/consig/jester etc etc" " cit/sin must be godfather because jester is already dead, and town random excludes citizen"

    Re: SC2 Mafia Voting Patterns

Each player and group plays the game differently. Different groups communicate differently. If you were playing chess, you won't ask for what is the usual response when the knight moves. Yet, you are asking for that here. There are too many scenarios to determine the usual pattern.

However, you may find that if a certain mafia has his goose cooked, other mafia may guilty them. I usually tell mafia to guilty me if I know I am going on trial and will lose.

Scum usually tries to get a no lynch but it's a bonus if they get a mislynch.

    Re: SC2 Mafia Voting Patterns

mafia players that tend to sheep and lurk might end up abstaining on their partners. If they are smarter mafia players, then they'll most likely try to go with the flow rather than abstaining.

    Re: SC2 Mafia Voting Patterns

Mafia strongly likes to abstain. no matter how terrible/good the defender is.
When we talked about pubs, we are talking about us.
When they talked about pubs, they exclude themselves.
They say only bad players want to modify citizens, and they do not satisfy bad players.
Are we bad players? We include bad players, but that is just a part of us.
---They put veteran, mayor, allowed jester to visit for nothing, and they regretted and say those things are brainless.
