    The problem with this is that then Jester would have a legitimate effect on the game- outside of his character and the guilty-suicide.

    Jester, as it stands, is 100% focused around the lynch and the suicide. That already has a LARGE effect on the game in terms of who the Town wants to lynch.
    Scum looking player with bad defense- Jester
    That Consig that is blindly saying random things- Jester
    Serial Killer that outed himself- Jester
    'Cit/Sin'- might be Jester

    To throw in a confusing effect during the night messages would have a large swing in the game in terms of what roles were expected to be run into.
    1. Jester does this to Investigator.
    2. Investigator assumes there is Serial Killer in game, since no SK kills. (for example)
    3. Investigator proceeds to lynch all Doctors.
    4. Arson win.


    This type of ability is one I use in games in person, but throwing it onto the Jester would turn him from something that makes lynches more hesitant to something that causes a lot of role confusion.
    Or he would be able to successfully WIFOM Doctor. But that doesn't seem to work very well for his objective. lol

    Other feedback messages might work, but this one in particular would be too large in the game.

    People don't like to turn on Doused or Witched settings. And, also, Witched feedback would likely have an even larger effect on the game than the attacked/healed.
    Really, what I think you want is for the Forum Mafia 'Drug Dealer' role to come into effect. lol.

    This makes a lot of sense. And seeing as Jailor is effectively a night-time trial, he would be the 1 'guilty' voter. However, Vigilante Jailor and Veteran are the ways for Town to remove Jesters without taking a hit. So adding a suicide effect to any of them would hurt that.

    I like this. Vigilante could still kill him, and this would make jailors think twice before executing. Host option.

    We actually have not done this. There are still texts for these events actually happening. It is with Jester pokes that the flashes happen/should happen. I'm not sure which occur.
