Nah, same rules as last time. I would want to add Jailor/Amnesiac/Witch if the community approves. Or we could do it like last game. I do feel that it is fair that Sheriff finds SK. Not sure if you guys approve or not, other than that, nothing changes.

At least make a rule against images during day chat and codes, as was said earlier in the thread. They really ruin the game.

1) If you were in the last forum mafia, you had to have posted at least 10 times throughout the game(excluding n1 deaths)
2) You are not allowed to post images in the day chat. You can, however, do what Narks did for a last will as it does not distract from discussion.
3) You cannot sign other people up. i.e. S.A.S. signing up Narks.
4) You cannot have a warning level on the forums.

How are these restrictions bad?
The first one prevents lurkers, the second one prevents trolling, the third one is because S.A.S. wants to be a total asshole, and the fourth is because forum mafia should be a privilege, not a right.

I don't see how any of these are in any way unfair.

Who said anything about this game being shorter? And days last 48 hours for a reason... I may live in GMT -4, but I tend to post at times that would make more sense for an Australian. So I really don't think that timezones are your problem.

Elixir will be choosing who is eligible for sign-ups, so I cannot make or enforce any rules about sign-ups.
Goon and I will co-host the game. Elixir will participate in the game.

The setup and the intro thread will be out as soon as Forum Mafia II completes, if possible.

I think it'd be better to switch the rule from no signing up other people to whether or not they oppose, I am at school right now and cbf signing in.

With Forum Mafia 2 drawing to the final days, we're planning on having less of a downtime between the games this time, so the sign ups are going up now and will last for about 7 days.

Goonswarm and FalseTruth will be cohosting this one, I'll be back hosting in Game 4.

New suggestion: why don't we set up a spectator chat? It would replace the dead chat, allowing people who didn't manage to get in for one reason or the other to follow the game closely, without bothering the guys who are actually playing. Players will also join there as soon as they die, just like the old dead chat.

I mean I get that more people = more roles and things to track, but with 2 people managing the game this time it'd be cool to get even more people. I know you were thinking of not adding a cult, but with all the people trying to get it in we could have more "fun" roles.

I like Spy's idea of one person managing story and one managing role spreadsheets and randomizing the game.

We may also add an additional vest to the sk, one more doc, and either 1 more for each smith or let the smiths target 2 people each night. There's plenty of room for new suggestions, if you ask me.

The story isn't as much work as you would think. If we do it that way, the work isn't split 50/50. More like 20/80.

Not exactly, i mean that some people may sign in specifically (or, if they don't get in due to the hard cap) to discuss with the deads and other spectators, instead of signing up to the game itself. It works exactly like the dead chat, except there are also non-players.
