I wish I had known I was still eligible for the finals. I thought I was cut after DR posted who was moving on to the next round. I left and grabbed a bit to eat only to return to DR telling me to join the finals.

This makes me suspect you actually were AFK because that is not the reason you were killed
The game was about to end if no one died, so DR went to a website that randomly generated a number, and the number that came up was 7, which was you, Green, so you died. You were Serial Killer and did not kill anyone else with you that night, so the game would have ended guaranteed had you not been killed.

This besides the fact that game didn't even matter because it froze so everyone automatically got 1 point. So that game had no effect on your standing.

I rolled really bad after the last game of prelims (witch twice , town twice in the worst possible setups)
The setup with 2 MM 3 maf and another neutral was pretty ridiculous, 3 every night killing capable roles aswell as another neutral stacked on top. We basically lost after 2 nights of 3 kills :s
and the last one with 6 neutrals, 3 killers 1 cult against sheriffs masons citizens and a doc with sheriffs only detecting sk and cult lulz. I obviously got sheriff in that 1
