►►Re: Is it legal to troll so hard in game?◄◄

You have to go out of your way to break the rules, lol. There aren't that many, and the ones that do exist are clearly defined. Just use common sense for everything else: for example it's not technically against the rules to spam racial slurs over and over, but anyone with a brain knows the difference between "trolling" and "ruining the player experience."

And tbh, the trolling is what makes sc2maf my favorite online mafia experience. Not the losers who clog chat with 1000 lines of garbage, obviously, because that's just idiocy and not trolling... but the rest I often find hilarious.

Griefing/throwing/etc. isn't trolling either. It's just breaking the rules.

And it really is that easy. Just don't be an idiot, and you can pretty much say whatever you want.

    ►►Re: A question about the rules◄◄

I've played IRL mafia a few times. The format was 1 mafia, 1 doctor, 1 sheriff, and then like 5 citizens lol. So only 1 evil against 6-7 townies.

We had a subset of 7-8 playing cards to determine roles, and we used those same cards for each game. There was 1 Joker (mafia), 1 Queen (doctor), etc. The citizen cards were just your generic #-of-suit -- but, again, we used the same subset every game.

So at the beginning of one of our games, someone gets questioned. And she responds with, "I can't be mafia. I have the 6-of-Hearts." We had to re-distribute roles, lol. Because we all knew the 6-of-Hearts was in circulation, and there was nothing stopping the rest of the citizens from just reading their unique keys, which would end the game almost immediately.

I dunno, this question made me think of that. And yeah, I remember that rule existing way back in like 2011 when I didn't even have an account and would just watch my friend play.

    ►►Re: Witch◄◄

I believe the win condition reads something like, "survive and see the town lose the game."

The Witch loses as soon as she dies. She has no teammates. This is the case for most neutral evils; helping the town lose is no longer a requirement after death. She could leave the name of every single evil in her last-will, and it still wouldn't be considered game-throwing.

I played a game as Auditor the other day. I converted someone to Mafioso, and he screamed "I was audited!" to the heavens almost immediately. This prevented me from whispering him, because it would expose both of us as evil to anyone paying attention. So I put "#3 is mafioso" in my last-will: if he lost me the game, then I would in-turn lose him the game. That is not gamethrowing. And even if I didn't have a justifiable reason, it still wouldn't be gamethrowing. (we teamed up the next day anyway, though, and I deleted my last-will, lol).

Neutral evils have no allegiance to the mafia or triad. In their win-condition, the operative word is "survive." If they want to use their last-will to help town win, they are not breaking the rules or throwing the game: they've already lost.

►►Re: Clan and -Mafia- Arcade Game◄◄

I believe someone named renegade just blatantly threw a game I played in.

How do I report? I am new to the forums.
