I agree with Yoshimo on the MVP. Town did almost nothing to earn this win. I really wanna see Montaron win, cause she's the only one who DID anything. Then obviously Mazzy did great on stalling her lynch and buying time for her team, Shar did good on appearing Town, and Valygar could very well have been MVP if his recruits weren't continuously killed. I was really sad to see it too as I would have loved to side with the Harpers, but that afk BG + modkill as well as all-around worthlessness makes siding with them over Bhaalspawn just as suicidal as Bhaalspawn siding with Cult.

1. Only reason the lynch turned on her was because of her claimed neutral role, despite wanting to ally with the Town. Combined with the fact that people on her train were absolute scumballs (Nalia, Branwen, Ajantis come to mind) it looked like Cult trying to sneakily prevent us from getting a PR.
2. Her play was consistent through the game, so Branwen's claims of her being Culted looked bogus, furthering my suspicions of it being a mislynch
3. Student was a very strong potential ally, and nobody had claimed to be her Mentor, so I figured she was telling the truth about not having one yet, so I figured by claiming it it would free her to take a real one (IE: Kivan or myself should I be recruited to the Harpers)

When I weighed the pros and cons, I deemed it to be worth the risk, as I honestly did not believe her to be Cult. I was shocked when she flipped Quartermaster

Mm-hmm. And yet you're allying with the Thief, the BH, and, iirc, you're open to allying with the Antagonist. Why? For the good of the Town. If Shar had been Student, it would have helped Town tremendously. For all you know Khalid's not Thief, just Cult trying to delay the opening of the IS, and a possible Antagonist could just be Cult trying to get Town points. Allying with Neutrals is risky business. I deemed Shar to be worth that risk and I was wrong.

Why would a townie care about a fucking neutral claimer? If jaheira flips town then he is extremely bad. He is also bad if he flips cult, becouse he ensured that his teammate got lynched.

Mm-hmm. And yet you're allying with the Thief, the BH, and, iirc, you're open to allying with the Antagonist. Why? For the good of the Town. If Shar had been Student, it would have helped Town tremendously. For all you know Khalid's not Thief, just Cult trying to delay the opening of the IS, and a possible Antagonist could just be Cult trying to get Town points. Allying with Neutrals is risky business. I deemed Shar to be worth that risk and I was wrong.

Eh probably. But I don't give a crap. I was FoSed for it on d1 (See Cernd's Cult accusation which was used by Garrick later on), but outside of that, my thought process has had nothing to do with my lynch. But the BH contract is unnecessary. I will be dead today. End of story.
