I tried to kill a Marshall night 1 once. He escaped and town snowballed into a win afterwards.

It is because of "Unblockable Kill: Off" That enables the kidnapped/interrogated person to escape. In my experience it always happens that your target escapes with it. If it were on, your target had no way of escaping (unless roleblocked). It's a pretty dumb setting and should be either removed or changed to that you still keep your 1 and only execution.

Yeah that was me who took over your team mate and won triad the game. Clutch victory
Here is the replay .
It was not a bug.
For some reason the team interface doesn't remove him from your team.
Best way to tell if some one is still on your team is to check at night if he still responds in chat.
Harder if the guy actually never talks.

Any one playing this game should be aware of this problem. I wonder why no one has ever brought it up before me. Could it be that it wasn't always like this? Giving the fact that the game hasn't been updated for over a year now.

Currently once the night sequence has ended, the Last will are presented and the day chat officially begins. They turn BLACK and BOLD. Making them pretty much unreadable. Coloring the letters does not actually help, it gives the same result. Even if you magnify the text. It's still hard to make sense of. Currently the only way to read it is if you open the Log. Which I am sure many people don't actually do, or should have to do if the information in still on the screen. If people ever wonder why LW's are not read. This would be be in my top 3 assumption.
My suggestion is to either at least don't turn the letters Bold. Preferably don't change the colors of the text/background of it but I am guessing that won't work. Since the while previous chat filters it's colors to black.

Could not agree more. Nowadays I just use the setting that they detect exact role. Which is overpowered really, though I balance it by making sure they are less likely to spawn. I really dislike how investigator was changed and how it forced me to let them detect exact role. Cause if I did not use that setting, they would just be not be usable. Might as well reduce the spawn chance to 0%.

Problem with Witch Doctor is that he saves a target from being converted if he targets the same as his buddy cult. A Witch Doctor preventing a convertion into his own group makes no sense.

Yeah, the problem continues. Would be nice if it gets fixed. There are plenty of new players joining each day who could use this guide. I always copy&paste it for them.

That is a excellent question. I'll add to that and ask if the cultist are a a limit, will the witch be able to exceed that (current) limit?

Haha, yeah that was me who started the roulette after I died. Not sure if I ever got the message for the roulette to start but apparently you did in the graveyard chat. I'm also not sure if I started it the moment I died or after seeing the game crashed. Regardless, something went horribly wrong.

Does this require more information other then Save?
Day 7, 4 town alive, godfather leaves after being unable to kill the investigator three times in a row and the judge getting spotted and lynched. I decided to -suicide since the game was a guaranteed win regardless whether I lived or not. At the moment of the suicides between 2 people (me and GF) the game stops. People were able to pauze the game. I was even able to get the STOP SPAMMING message after trying to spam the chat.

You won because the Serial killer was stupid enough to target a veteran in a 1v1 situation where he could have just sit back and won the game without taking any risk. Congratulations.
@Reemus, I think there is already a achievement for that I think. 'Just like Nam'. Shame it needs 5 people to die at your house (afaik). I had 5 people visiting me once but a doctor healed 1 of them so I didn't get the achievement. Still won though.

It's not that you didn't play good. Coming from you I would not expect any less. Honestly you were also just very lucky. The amount of derp was pretty high. A combination of lucky elements let you win. Mayor just being very trigger happy after the last mafia died. Not checking up on the role list / graveyard and on what people claimed. Even then, on the last day the mayor even said he was going to do a coin flip. Even though he could have just skipped and waited for a conversion. That way everybody would have won, if there were indeed cultist alive. Though they would have had probably already recruited the mayor or it would have been a 2 v Mayor situation. Hindsight is a bitch though. The remaining people probably didn't even realize that cult already died out.
Anyways, congratulations on your victory. Even though you had to rely on bad play from others. I be satisfied with a victory like that as well. I'd take it.

This is a pretty hard nerf to the investigator really. I can see how this might be easier with last wills and some roles are easier to spot this way but it's special power to spot the godfather is pretty much gone now. With the new way, a immune to detection gf/dh would show up as a sheriff/citizen/doctor/amnesiac/witch/jester/executioner. Which is a large group of possible roles.
The arsonist also suffers from this change I think as it is the only role that gives Arson as crimes committed. Unless only after he ignited

Nerf. Framers will love that. Will Framer also stick for sheriff clues? Or only for investigator? What kind of crimes can we expect cause I'd assume you don't want it to lead to a town role crimes.
I got mixed feelings about this change. On the one hand it is refreshing and somewhat easier once you know what role gives which feedback. The fact that you are just useless at finding the gf/dh, which used to be the reason saves use a sheriff and a investigator. Sheriff gets normal mafia, the investigator gets the dragon head. That just clearly a nerf to town
It's also harder for new players to understand this role as it doesn't give a role anymore and if they don't realize they need to read ALL the roles on top on the screen to see which fits. He is even more useless
Well if any one has been playing mafia recently, they should know a player has been banned recently: Tafkal.
Weird thing though, he has been going into games ALL the time and each one he was kicked (have no idea why, has been doing it for days, if you are banned, you are banned)
But then I got in a game with him, along with necro jerks, and HE WAS NOT KICKED, infact, nothing was said.
So just in case, I sifted through the report appeals, I see nothing about tafkal.
Not sure what is up with that guy. I've got a replay of him where he reported every single person in the lobby and then leaves. Leaving reports on 14 players before the game even made it to the name selection. Which reminds me. Why can you get reported before you even play the game?
Another is, should I upload the replay of him reporting 14 players before he leaves? Pretty sure it's report abuse. The only reason I could see some one doing this is to check who got how many reports in the last 20 days and then get dropped from the setup, unable to -unreport some one. Which begs the next question. Why can you see how many times some one was reported if report some one to begin with?

Judge + Marshall = overpowered and requires a Nerf. I've seen that before but in this case it's even worse. Sure you would have won anyways cause you could have voted 2 people during 2 days of calling court.
As for Geth, that town was just terrible. None of them realized you were actually telling the truth. Even after the Veteran killed the forger which you called out day 1. The Jailor already forgot you gave away the Dragon head. If only his short term memory was larger, he might have realized he should have jailed the Dragon Head and executed him. I have to admit it was kinda funny how all Geths in that game were all triad. If it wasn't for that Jailor, you could have been reported for gamethrowing. But considering you still managed to win, it can't be.

Everyday there were lynches happening and exposing myself as a Jailor would probably get me lynched/killed before I would get healed. So I play more of a lurker style Jailor. I need people that allow me to jail. When I was able to jail I managed to turn the tides a bit.
The survivor actually sided with me after I claimed Witch on trial. 5 votes, 3 inno from triad and survivor and 2 votes guilty from a witch and a doctor.

Those are just generic scumbag survivors. Though with some town wanting a survivor dead cause there is no other target, I could slightly agree why the end up helping mafia/triad.
Personally I would never lynch a survivor who claims day 1. It's not rare to see a survivor claim it early to avoid competition for that role claim. I would also not lynch them cause I'd rather let the jailor (often times me) jail to hopefully jail a killing role.
If I role survivor I would always choose to help town, unless they are just to dumb to realize who the evil is that hides among them. In that case I'd rather put them out of their misery and vote with mafia/triad. But if the people that are alive are actually trying to win and know who they need to lynch. I would help them. There is a reason Survivors got bulletproof vest. It's to soak up kills and vote with town.
Conclusion. There are 2 types of Survivors. There are Scumbag Survivors and there are Good Guy Survivors.
PS: Here is a perfect example of a Good Guy Survivor who helped town in the end after town was full of fail. Most of them being noobs who honestly deserve to lose. I was a Jailor. It was 2 triad vs 1 doc, 1 jailor vs 1 witch and a Survivor at some point. I was voted on trial as a Jailor but manged to survive by claiming Witch. The witch was to dumb to counter claim and it ended up with me being able to jail and kill the Dragon head. See the replay to view how it ended with the survivor voting with town.

A Witch Doctor is not a regular Doctor. A Witch Doctor should not prevent conversion. If Cult thinks some one must be converted at all costs it should be a legit strategy to try to save and convert or just convert a target to have a pretty much guaranteed way of getting that person into the Cult.
The way it is now, you need to either convert some one, hoping they don't die or save him and hope he gets attacked. You can't put all eggs in the same basket cause it will overload and fail to convert. This cannot be intentional. Right, right?
A Witch Doctor should notice that his target is not attacked but being converted and should let that happen. It's in his own interest that let his target get converted.

Targets never get the message that they are saved against a cultist conversion. So that makes sense. The only way I see it happening is if a Mason (/leader) gets saved by a cultist that he would get a 'saved by a witch doctor message' though that probably shouldn't be implemented. In the save you attached, the witch doctor saved a Mason from being killed by the Serial killer but he did not know it was a Witch Doctor. He was probably to dead to realize he was a cultist when saved. Can't blame the guy getting a bit confused after nearly dying right?
It's the a valid question about the conversion
Sheriff get visited by: Cultist and Witch Doctor only, still did not get converted into a cultist. Why is that? Seems like something needs to be fixed about that.

That seems like a bug to me. Your target was a sheriff and the doctor that was left alive healed some one else. My guess would be that the witch doctor somehow prevents his own members from converting the target.

I would never use it myself. To me it only makes it harder to read most of what has been said.

This one time I used -prefer on a role that I had on -blacklist and I got the role that I -preferred. It was great cause I was still missing that role. This was a week ago or something. So it was after the -prefer change.
Anything else, the -prefer does not guarantee that you get that role anymore if you are the only person who can prefer and it's a fixed role. I still recommend using the -prefer just to increase the odds of you getting that role but don't expect it to actually happen. Had a game where there were 4 roles that I prefer but I still got something else.

Well, I did say that if you ignore that random lynch there is nothing that can be considered trolling. The guy did not claim any role after all so town had no reason to let him live I suppose. It's nice to be able to speed up the game while watching a replay. Otherwise it would be such a bore to watch it all. The game should have ended much earlier though if it wasn't for 1 guy getting himself a heart attack.

You are wrong actually. Day 2 there was a troll lynch. Lynching Gay for no reason besides his name. How is that not trolling(/griefing)? I suppose if you ignore that lynch, there was no trolling.
It´s also funny that the game could have ended much sooner if Red did not went afk and had a heart attack.
That and Nox not voting with the executioner/jester on the Mason Leader. If he went along with it, he could have won the game for the cult. Not sure how he missed that. The ML had 2 votes on him and was missing 1 more to get a trial and get lynched.

Lucas: 23 victories, 63 games played
The guy is a newbie for sure. It's pretty obvious he does not have much experience. Not sure what his thinking process was if he had any but he was pretty bad and town should be glad he died early, he could have F'ed it up later in the game by killing more town people who claim their town role.
It's a shame your tactic did not work though, it's a legit strategy, hoping the doctors/bodyguards take notice and make sure you don't die. Allowing you to carry the game after you are able to confirm your town role.
Conclusion: Don't expect to much from new players. High hopes leads to high disappointment.

Awesome, thanks.
Also, I's not like I want the Jailor to get doused but to me it seems only fair that he should.

That makes no sense cause it could be a coincidence that you get doused. That's the same that if you jail some one night 1 and no triad/mafia kills happen. That does not automatically mean that you jailed a Dragon Head/Godfather. Same goes a a Serial killer. Suppose you get healed after jailing a jail breaking Serial Killer. You should not necessary assume you jailed a Serial Killer. Reason why, the only way you get notified you died by a Serial Killer is if you actually die. If you get saved, you only get a message that you were brutally attacked but was saved by a stranger.
The arsonist was buffed to douse role blockers to be able to actually have more KPN. Giving it more chance to actually win the game. The option does not make sense if it treats the Serial Killer differently then a Arsonist. A role blocker is a role blocker.

Is that even possible to be at a negative Rep? Would make sense to me that you would get banned from the forum when it reaches -5 or something.
Back on topic: This idea, it's confusing just confusing.

The title almost says it all. A arsonist does not douse a Jailor after getting jailed while the Arsonist douses Role blocker setting in turned On. A Jailor is a role blocker as said in the description, so he should get doused after jailing a Arsonist.
Intentional or not? While arsonist already got a nice buff and I don't like seeing him buffed more, I do feel like he should douse the Jailor afterwards.

Forgot to get a screenshot but it shouldn't be to hard to dig up.

Summary: 60096 points, 7753 victories, 16500 games played. Either this guy has no life and plays nonstop since the release or it's a obvious bank hacker. His achievements also don't make sense, got all roles but not all town/triad/mafia/neutral roles achievement. Problem is he would probably make a new account after this one gets point banned, seeing his account number indicates to me it's already a trial account. That and he has no achievement points at all (outside -mafia).

I remember having the same happen to me when playing Doom back in the days. In my dreams I would kill them aliens while rushing to the exit. Fun times, till I wake up sweaty after getting killed by something that sneaked up behind me. Wouldn't be the only game I dreamed about at night. Sloal already gave the right answer to your question though. If it's something on your mind during the day, you have a high chance on dreaming about it during the night. Dreams can be random or they can be things you are interested in.
Since you are not a regular player, I'm guessing you're basing your statement on what you've observed.
Pretty sure he is more regular then you are, which is besides the point to begin with. Next time add something to the conversation instead of that please.
Anyway, the suggestions he made make sense. The only thing I disagree on that the serial killer does not kill role blockers. The triad and mafia already have a 4 player team and blocking the serial killer till you can lynch him nerfs the serial killer ability to win the save. Sure there is a second serial killer who could kill the role blocker but that is not something you should count on happening.
Everything else Coffex said is true. Saves like these are just random roulette where people get voted because they talk, people hate their name or just because it's not them that get lynched. It's hardly shows skill if you win this save as a triad or mafia. The only people who would actually deserve the win is the serial killer. Being able to get unnoticed by the crowd or investigative roles and slowly killing the triad and mafia during the night or getting lucky they don't lynch you. For that you would have to make sure you do talk but don't get haters against you.
That wouldn't apply. You only need to avenge death if he was killed in night.
'If' he gets killed at night but what if he gets lynched? He needs to protect his target so that should also apply to lynching. It shouldn't matter if he gets killed at night or during a lynch.
There is also the issue with if the target is a godfather/dragon head who cannot even die at night. He would basically have a easy time winning. Unless he can't win if he doesn't survive.
Another issue with this role is, what if the target is a godfather and gets killed in a duel by a bodyguard. How do you expect him to get revenge? I guess he could also turn into a jester since he would be mentally unstable.
There are some more minor flaws in the role and questions that would arrive when implementing this.

In a save where -pm is enabled you could just whisper the person that you are legion and that you need to protect them. Doesn't matter if he is mafia or town, if they believe your story, they will help you and not vote against you. In the case of that your target is a mafia and they believe you, the mafia would just gain another vote with them cause you would basically be on their side.
Of course it's a role that can be faked (like any role really).
I would recommend changing the name by the way. Your target is A legion? A Legion is not a single person but a group of. A Loyalist would sound more fitting to me.
Reasonable role suggestion but personally I would not like to see this role implemented.
PS: What would happen if your target gets lynched? I would assume you would need to kill/lynch 1 of the guilty voters at random (like a jester death)
Unfortunately we see no other way to combat poisonous players who can just get a new free account to by-pass the ban list.
While I understand there should be a way to combat poisonous players but if there are 2 new players who join a game and only 1 of them is malicious. When you vote -kick, it would also kick the person who is actually a first time player who hasn't done anything wrong (yet). I mean, you can always report the malicious player in-game if he does something wrong.
There is also the combination of a person who is on the -kick list, if that person shows himself in a game with along with a new player who has no connection to the the person on the kick. If you -kick the person on the list, you would also kick the new player cause there is no different command to kick the person on the list, separate from the new player.
Conclusion, make a different command to kick a certain player and not all players that can be kicked.
Also, what happened to the Nuclear option? It that not still in play?

Well, there is still the nuclear option right? Blow that sh*t up.
On a serious note, for Europe it might actually be a good thing. This would give more people the chance to play the game. As for the US, they often don't have to wait long before the game actually starts. Perhaps early in the morning it might go a bit slower but all in all not the hassle it is on the EU servers.
Then again, after posting this. I realized every troller/flamer/gamethrower will just make a new account so he can play without dealing with a the banlist.

I have over 2100 matches played so 1 point per 100 makes sense. Not sure why I would need more points then I already do. I got what I wanted.

Basically a alternative the the achievement ->Zombie Suicide: Commit suicide from beyond the grave. (+250)
To get this very rare achievement you need to get burned after you already died and end up on the Graveyard List.
Reason? Well, the Zombie Suicide was actually a bug that was made into a achievement. This one is sort of a bug as well. I got a replay of a Arsonist who doused a Coroner. The Coroner visited a dead person when he got ignited. Burning the corpse of the person who was tying to investigate.
Here is a screenshot of the person who died twice.

And the actual replay.

It's funny to note. The arsonist got the Achievement Disco Inferno from it. He killed 4 people who were alive and 1 person who was already lynched. Not sure that is intended cause his targets cannot be attacked by some else to get this achievement.

Arsonist options:
Ignition kills targets targets on
Ignition always kills on
Night immunity on
Target knows they are doused ON!
Day 5: There are 4 people remaining. 1 Silencer, 1 Dragon Head, 1 Doctor, 1 Arsonist. The arsonist just burned the night before. -skip lynch
Night 5: Godfather attacks the Arsonist. Arsonist douses the DH, Silencer silences Arso, Doctor heals the arsonist. Arsonist did not get a message that he was doused, only the godfather. Nobody dies
Day 6: -skip lynch
Night 6: Dragon Head burns, taking the doctor with him, as a bonus the doctor also gets cremated. Doctor tries to heal the arsonist but the setup doesn't allow it. Silencer blackmails the Arsonist. The arsonist burns as well.
Conclusion:
How did the arsonist burn when he didn't get a message that he was doused in the first place? I know it's intended that the ignitions kills targetS' targetS. Meaning I was suppose to die cause I got doused when the Dragon Head first visited me. But a arsonist can always see that they are doused even if it's not in the setup (witch/bus driver).

Also, apparently a doused lookout does not kill his target when ignited. The lookout visits a doctor when ignited yet he survived. Probably the same reason he doesn't die to a veteran alerting? He just stays outside, watching.

Are you saying a Coroner is overpowered and this makes him even more overpowered? This change is a welcome one to me, makes a coroner worth more then just knowing what role that sanitized person has.
