    ►►Re: ACHIEVEMENT NIGHT!◄◄

Whats the meaning of "Achievement night"? Do you plan to make a game with 12 jesters so everyone gets his last laugh? Such things?
Like back in the 90s, when we just wanted to see the final boss of a game and switched on "god-mode"?
I'm just curious. There are certain achievements I really don't think I will ever get in a pub game (like "marathon" or "hung jury").

Verb 1. confirm - establish or strengthen as with new evidence or facts; "his story confirmed my doubts"; "The evidence supports the defendant"

    "His story confirms my claim."

I may be not that good with the english language, since I am no native speaker. And it's 15 years now since I had it in school. So I looked it up. When someone "strengthens" a claim, it's a confirmation. A confirmation does not need to reveal a lier, when 2 guys tell the same story, and it's both a lie, the word "confirmation" still applies.

    ►►Thoughts about lynching. (in pubs)◄◄

    Let's skip the introduction.

    Lynch order:
    - confirmed Jester
    - confirmed Survivor
    - confirmed Executioner who did not even try to lynch his target.
    - confirmed normal scumbag Executioner (this role exists solely to fuck up any game, and it's designed for the kind of gamers who are way too stupid to get lynched as jester)
    - confirmed Jailor (no joke, I had a game with a guy yelling "HES JAILOR, LYNCH HIM" and the jailor got lynched. Without executing anyone before. I repeat, no joke.
    - confirmed Mayor
    - confirmed Investigative role that does not have any info.

Just after you lynched the above, you go on lynching evil roles. Not before. Not ever. When you're playing pubs.

There is another thing about pubs. It's not the idiots, faking to be trolls, that ruin every possibility to play a normal game, it's the hunger for lynches. In 9 out of 10 games, someone starts a voting on d2, most of the times without giving any hint. And all those random pubys just follow the herd and trial time begins. Often you can't type "wait, stop" fast enough. You see, when too many people vote too fast, it's a good chance, the guy who's to be trialed is NOT mafia, because the mafia won't vote on of their own kind so fast. But still, people just go on lynching.
Yesterday the sk started two random trials without saying one single word. People voted his target so quick it was disgusting. When I started to point out that this guy is voting way too fast I got attacked. I was the executioner who did not even try to get his target lynched. Investigator confirmed me, I told them I would not ruin the game, but still got lynched. With GF and SK out there.
I really like pubs, you can have fun there, with or without all those idiots claiming to be trolls.
This one thing though, this "I have to lynch someone fast, because thats what this game is about, right? Did I take my medicine today?" will always fuck it up.

Go on lynching, random pubys. This game would be way too much fun without you.

►►Re: Citizens are no longer important?◄◄

I just got my Hammer and Sickle, and yes, Citizen is important.
    We were 4 people left,
    2 Citizen
    1 GF
    1 Sheriff

When the Sheriff made it clear he was totally useless now, and the decision was between the other Citizen and the GF.
I still had my vest and forgot that the detective who became Disguiser found the GF on n1 already. So I played along and we lynched the Citizen. Poor me, the obvious GF asked for roles (since I never said mine) and I answered Mason. I put on my vest, he killed the Sheriff, and Town won. He even did quite some party after the game finished, maybe still not having realized that he just lost. The citizen is important, because you can't fail with it. You can't be fooled by a framer, when being Sheriff and thus losing most likely one town and yourself (kill him, he lynched the detective!). As a citizen, mafia will be forced to ignore you if revealed, in order to get after the investigative roles/docs.
I play this role with more sympathy than any killing role.

    ►►Mason - forever alone◄◄

Some time ago, we put some guy on the trial. Not the most innovating thing here, I know. I did not even remember why we put him on trial. What matters to me is that he claimed he was mason. The only mason. There never was a second, nor will there be in this session. I haven't played for a year by then, but I remembered reading that masons always come in pairs. So I claimed he lies and even said why. "Masons never appear alone, there will always be a second", was what I typed. We lynched him, he was the GF.
After I died, the angry ghost of the mason/GF and another ghost, nearly as angry as the first, showed some mastery skill in psychology and their result was, that I obviously got no brain. "There can be a mason in this setup, noob!" "You dumbshit have no brain, asshole". "l2p, sucker". Ghosts are always very angry I suppose. Maybe for being shut off from the good old click-any-lynch game they love so much. I remained calm and searched for the Role-Description site. It still said that there is always at least 2 masons. Is that true? I don't want to look like an idiot more than necessary.

    ►►My last laugh◄◄

Day 1. Roled Executioner. I don't like that role, and since it is the first time i role it (after 130 games), I just sit there and do nothing to get my target lynched.
Day 3 or 4. Someone tried to kill me. I stay calm. During discussion, someone claims I am Arso. Well done so far. But then he slips. He claims that he's Investigator and says that I am Arso OR SK. That escalated quickly. I use my superpower (common sense) and wonder in public how an Investigator could claim someone is Arso/SK. So the GF was lynched. Lucky for me, nobody got the point that I was obviously immune to his attack.
Day 6? or 7?. My target died. At last. I become Jester. One Mafia left and the Busdriver. I know by now who's Mafia so I rush the keyboard to speak my third sentence in the game "Lynch (randomname/Busdriver)!" He claims Busdriver and tells who he switched. Fine for him. I claim BD when asked by the other guy (mafia). Here we reach that risky point. Will one of them remember that the GF thought me to be Arso/SK? Why would he have risked revealing himself this stupid way by announcing it publicly? Lucky again, none remembers. I bring forth some cheap defense. Trying to look like a madman who might be able to shoot someone at night. Both vote me guilty. Mafioso is killed by bus, Busdriver kills himself because of lynching me. Jester wins. I even forgot to make a screenshot. Funny thing, you get both, the first win as Exe (in my case at least) and the Jester win.

►►Re: Retarded things people do in SC2 Mafia that piss you off?◄◄

    - Investigative roles: they normally shout out their clues on d2/d3 so everyone will either think it's an exe or an evil role. You don't shout out your clues that early, go on CAPS mode because not all are totally like "oh, that guy is shouting ORANGE IS MAF on day2, i have to trust him, because yes!", and then go like "doc on me!" because, yes, everyone knows that the first to shout out he's sheriff MUST be sheriff. Those fast revealers are useless as shit. Investigate, write your clues in your lw and held the town, do not confuse them.
    - Role-lovers: being sk and getting caught on n1 is neither retarded nor ruining the game. It's very exactly the one thing this game is about. Retarded on the other hand are those role-lovers. They disconnect when they get doctor or investigator and are pissed when they get caught too early in their favorite role. Yesterday someone made it clear that he will kill the guy who caught him in his favorite role in every single game he can find him.
    - those clever guys: they chatspam from d1, are probably your brother at arms in the mafia, shouting out that they are, well, a mafia role, and while you cross your fingers in exchange for a quick prayer, this guy comes up with other names, sometimes true mafia, sometimes fake, everyone's confused. In nightchat he says it's all part of the plan, the next day he is lynched. Plan never works, you just wait there for the cops to get you and try to find a reason why someone might make such a plan. Or even if it was a plan at all.
When the normal game is too hard for you, when it hurts you physically trying to find out who's who, when your mom tells you way too often that you can become everything you want, you might not be the next super-genius, but, how shall i put it... a retard.
    - the daily clash between noobs and those who have played a few rounds: it's not the noobs that ruin the game, it's those that stop communicating with them. Imagine your GF is new to the game and he simply targets what you target (you're cons for example), but you just do some spiritual enhancing facepalm instead of telling him how it works. Imagine you're the 3rd mafia guy and you just watch that noob and that retard doing this shit over the length of 3 nights, but instead of facepalming your ugly face, you just considered to give one away to the town and fake to be sheriff and try to focus on winning by being a traitor, then you're doing it halfway right. So it's with town roles. When someone claims to be a noob, chances are way above 80% he's faking it. Whether true or not, it works, half the town just switches on the rage mode and forgets about playing. Or communicating. Why's that bad? Well, because this game is played by communicating. Thats why. I guess it's just too easy to make sure everyone knows who ruined everything, just so you can go back to trolling and not playing at all.
    - retards: and i don't mean those who are driven around in a wheelchair by family members. I don't even mean the vigi who thought it would be better to take a chance, than to wait for the mafia to get him and unfortunately killing the sheriff. I don't mean the mafia guy on trial, having no more options to defend himself and just gives up. I am speaking of those 80% of the players who are daed and spend the rest of their time in the grave muttering into their chubby chins about town/mafia being total retarded. You, kids, are the real retards. They're docs who claimed sheriff just to lynch the guy who took the name they wanted, who then get lynched because some invest found out he's not sheriff. They're investigators lynching everyone they find, though there's a busdriver and a witch and a framer. They're townsfolk trying to force the jailor to reveal themselves on day2. They're detectives, lynching someone who named himself Justin Bieber just for the name. Too bad he's doctor and people lynch the detective next. But most of all, they're the ones who use "100%" in a sentence about the roles of others. ... This game is about lies. This game is about framing, busdriving, bewitching, claiming inv when you're cons., about only to trust yourself. There's just too many to write them all down.

Every fault that is done as a role, blocking the inv. 3 nights in a row, executing the wrong person, is part of the game. This makes the game interesting and funny. Retards can be found easily. In 99% of the cases, they fuck this game up by metagaming.

    My opinion.
