In my last 2 games, Werewolf Ball especially, I put way too much effort in; it made me appear towny as fuck, but in the end I was wrong on all of my pushes and felt like shit in real life because I was distracted by the game at nearly all times, worried about reads, about flips, about what actions to take. I was literally playing while out to dinner with the family, during the holidays. I got too obsessed.
I'm taking a different approach this time so that the game doesn't consume my life so much, and I don't feel so bad when I turn out wrong. It's a personal mental issue I'm dealing with, but primarily, I'm just trying to have fun with the game.
As for why exactly I'm throwing off my meta, well, we'll see in how the rest of the game plays out. No need to throw all my cards on the table just yet.
Except for the part where I'm Godfather, Damus is Janitor, and Mike is consort who still needs to be lynched.

Good example of what I mean from my last post.
Serious post......then fuck Mike. When I first read this I rolled my eyes and continued on, which I did with quite a few of his post.
The first parts make sense. From start to the end of 3rd point, I 100% agree.
However, this is a logical fallacy. It's quite rare that mafia has one active, one inactive, and one back-up. Scum will usually try to control something. Be it control day chat, control attention by being all low activity or at least low spotlight, stuff like that. I am not saying that they are always all of the same "group", obviously, since that is ALSO a logical fallacy. You can't just ignore one's scumminess because of this kind of assumption.
Now, to the next paragraph. There is a big difference between Damus and Glip's plays. Damus is not coherent with his play, is overdefending himself, and his "experiment" seriously looks like something that was made up in a hurry to get himself out of a bad situation.
On the other hand, Glip has been coherent with his reaction testing: he's keeping it, and has showed that he was getting reads out of it. Although he could do that as scum, I find it more likely to come from town.
And if I keep your claimed point of view, entering the logical fallacy I have mentioned earlier, in which only one of them is scum... it makes very little sense to just say that since he's being scumread and not Glip, Damus is town and Glip is scum, because they are not doing the same thing. The mafia claiming is the only common point between them; the intent is completely different.
I however do agree with the last two paragraphs about Aamirus.
While I haven’t quite decided if I think Damus is scum or not, I think he’s probably being honest about the “experiment.” Even though his attempts with it seem half assed.
I do for the most part agree Glip could be scum, or at least not town. But personally I keep reading his posts as trolls because he keeps talking about voting Mike, which he is probably going for if he is scum.
Why do you townread AIVION? I didn't see anything AI from the slot.
Still catching up, but as of right now Aivion really hasn’t said too much either. But it’s also only day one.
Eh, don’t really feel much yet.
You feel like a neutral evil as usual but I’m not sure if that’s gameplay based or just the way you talk.
Damus has seemed the most scummy so far but that’s potentially chalked up to him being the only person who’s been seriously pushed and by distorted no less. Still, the guy who gets flustered D1 is usually scum.
Glip, Arsonist, and unknown I got weak scummy vibes from just for the attempts to deflect pressure from Damus.
LunaMayGraves: CLEARLY THE GODFATHER.
Damn ya got me. Glip was covering for me all along.
He's my janitor, of course I'm not happy with the pressure on him. He's also my foul weather buddy. The one you can count on to be there when things go south.
You're the mayor, according to aamirus, so I trust you with my death. I mean life.
Scvmurderer sheepvoted Mike, so he gets +points in my book for being a loyal follower. I'll spare him until last.
AIVION's being confusing with his "future man" references that I don't understand.
Unknown1234 is the first person I've seen to actually pay attention to me, so he gets +points for having a brain. Or ears, at least. Technically eyes since this is taking place on a text forum. But still.
Marshmallow Marshall has a history for gamethrowing. I'm hoping he's a self-confirmable TPR that'll forget his night action again; that'll make my job much easier. #nosalt #butreallythough
aamirus is the one that said you were Mayor or Godfather. Trying to claim that anyone but me could be the godfather is a pretty weak scumpaint from my perspective, so, -points for weaksauce plays.
Ganelon (now Auckmid) got himself replaced already. That's interesting, seeing as we're not halfway into Day 1 yet. I guess Ganelon knew his role would be important and that he couldn't dedicate the time necessary to it, so he had himself replaced.
LunaMayGraves is the wife of Damus_Graves. A built-in buddy. It'll be interesting to see if they have a competitive or cooperative relationship. I don't have all that much experience with my waifu's other half yet.
Light_Yagami is apparently Jaden Smith reborn. No sane person capitalizes the first letter of every word. It's not lazy, it's not just unintelligent, it's downright insane, because it takes extra work to make your posts harder to read and deliberately defies all rules of logic and grammar. This guy is deliberately confusing, arrogant, and infuriating with his posts. He reeks of serial killer. I also tried to kill him N0 and he was night immune, as I said earlier, so there.
Gyrlander was the one who said he didn't want to bother to read the thread, right? -points right there. How is Town supposed to play the game if they don't read the thread, ya fucknugget? This guy's probably the Neutral ANY flipped Evil.
Naz is.... nazty.
I know I’m not really saying too much, and that’s just because I don’t think I have anything of use to say as of yet. But I really hope “oh she’s Damus’ wife” doesn’t last for long.

Thanks. I’m guessing unvoting is pretty much the same thing except unvote instead of vote.
