    If protecting against mafia, both will die.

    If protecting against NK, only Bodyguard will die.

    I posted a poll above. Also here's another question, would you rather have three docs or three bodyguards? You will always pick the bodyguard option because it's a town protective/killing in one role, the bodyguard dying is also praised and given more headpats than a doctor saving two. It's over for doctorcels.

    The chad bodyguard has to be right only ONCE to finish his objective then everyone PRAISES him and calls him a hero, meanwhile the virgin doctor would save three people and he gets no appreciation because it's not announced (and how often do you have games where a doc player healed three times in one game!?)

    You must have GOOD sense of danger of what the evil will target as a doctor, HEALING just two people one game takes real skill (not even talking about healing three here) but the bodyguard provides more value by getting it right only once. The doc has to heal three to outrank the bodyguard in contribution to the game. Do you really think it's common for the average doctor player to heal two per game? The average bodyguard only has to get it right once though.

    What the bodyguard provides is CONSISTENCY in contribution to the game, the doctor healing three may be more value but then again how often does it happen? For a doctor to provide an equal value, the doc must be successful in healing two people which the average Sc2Mafia player cannot do but what they can do is to do the bodyguard protect consistently because they only have to get it right ONCE.

    Also doctors are more often mislynched than bodyguards thus wasting more time, bodyguards are less likely to be mislynched because why?

    You can't be mislynched if you are already dead (big brain thinking).


    Then there's the scenario when a bodyguard KILLS the neutral killer on Night 1, now the mafia is fucked because the KPN is cut in 1/2 and the only way to migitate the cut is to hope that a retard vigilante somehow kills three Townies in a row AND the win is still no bueno guaranteed.

    The virgin doctor also gets killed by the mass murderer but the tyrone bodyguard could not only kill the fucking mass murderer but ALSO save everyone from what could be a wreak havoc on town, it never began for doctorcels.

    if the map is close to memory limit, then just remove the unnecessary fluff, I bet the mothership extended took a lot of needed space, and so is the rest of the executions that we don't care about. There's also the shitizen and auditor, and unbalanced options like "detect exact role, can make 4 executions", and the silly skins. Hell, all gamemodes need to be removed and overhauled, we have played sc2mafia to the point that we know what a good setup is, remove the saveslot feature, which removes the need for a good saveslot every game, remove the setup of the day, chicago and lawless, and everything. Replace the removed gamemodes with default 9-3-3, Mafia vs Triad, and Cult save.

    It seems that the reason that Sc2mafia development halted because no one knows how to continue his code, and the reason why is that DarkRevenant did not leave behind a thread on what to do with his code (How to add new GUI, How to add new Role, how to modify this existing mechanic.)

    I don't have a Veteran in my setup, because the role is not about social deduction, is unfun to play with and against, and is about luck, but still the Veteran role exists in the game, and many players include it in their setups, so much fun to die as a bodyguard because I just happened to visit the wrong guy right? So much fun to die as a Blackmailer because oops you visited the wrong guy and now you die!

    Pros and cons of Veteran existing in game:

    Pros: None, this is a social deduction game and Veteran is not a role that contributes anything to the social deduction, is unfun to play with and play against, a vigilante/jailor/bus driver kill is often praised, a veteran kill not so much, especially as a veteran is more likely to kill town with the alert(or a lottery draw of kills as I like to call it)

    Cons: already said above on the pros section, because I am that bitter about the Veteran being in the game that I already put the cons on the pros section.

    AS I AM WRITING THIS, I AM PLAYING A Sc2 MAFIA RIGHT NOW, AND A VETERAN IN MY GAME JUST KILLED A SHERIFF ON NIGHT 1, AND THAT"S EXCUSED, AND THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE FUN OF THE GAME.


    tldr: Veteran is a role about a lottery draw of kills, contributes nothing to the social deduction aspect which is why this game is being played.
