I wonder what it's like inside Blizzard, and maybe there are staff who want this fixed by the fatass manager's saying "Fuck the players, my orders are to do nothing!"

I really hate Blizz, because they pissed all over the ticket I submitted about this.

Yeah great camera-work DR! Ever since that exalted patch it's been hilarious and thoughtful.

The view from behind the fence is special, because it makes you feel like you're a rogue watching out for town. I think there should be a model for each role chosen and it should show the action per-role each night. Have a ranged-model for each of the killing roles except SK and MM, and make zealot the model for those, etc.

My favorite is the Cliffside camera-pan. I don't know why, but I like the cliff view, and it makes me reflect on my life and its progression. The visualness of the map has grown on me. Or the factory that produces unlimited barrels. Or the chain-link fence view. What do you guys think?

I already sent Blizzard a ticket, the asshole just replied that it must be my internet provider. Internet provider said everything's running as it should, and speedtest confirms. Blizzard's tech support is on the evasive and doesn't want to deal with customer backlash, so they'd just rather not reply to concerns at all.

My chair is comfortable, but close to 2-3 hours in it I can feel the cushion depressing so much that I can feel the bars underneath it lol. But it's fun for rocking back and forth.

Ooh yoga ball nice. In the latest "Wolverine" trailer, the Japanese guy is seen lying on a bed made of the same pins of that toy you can buy (the one where you can make 3D faces with).

There are custom-made PC desk setups you can buy of different designs, but the best ones simulate the inside of a racing car and are mechanized especially for sim games. They start at $1,000 lol, and include A/C but no seatbelt.

    ►►Computer desk/furniture thread◄◄

We've had threads about "Which laptop should I get?", but no discussion about the furniture required for desktop computers. Time to brag about our setups.

    Mine:

PC: custom-built PC that was top-of-the-line in 2011, only thing I'll mention is the i7 920. Tech details can get a bit boring, but it's got good parts in it.

    Desktop:

-rollout keyboard and mouse tray from IKEA
-plain-ass wooden desk with legs from IKEA
    -lava lamp
-HP PS/2 keyboard, because a keyboard is a keyboard and I'd rather spend money on more useful things than extra buttons
-Cooler Master Storm gaming mouse, wasn't expensive and has various lighting options plus a front grill that shines red light through

Chair: non-damaged leather executive chair I saw ditched for garbage day on side of the road, missing 1 wheel. Took one from cheaper chair and inserted it EZ. Saved $120. Two wooden boards underneath chair for rolling mat.

Speakers: Logitech Z-5500 5.1 speakers, huge subwoofer below desk for use as a foot stool/cat sleeping spot.

Display: 37-inch Vizio LCD TV Refurb, not mounted.

Remote holder: wire CD-case rack reversed and drilled to wall for EZ access.

Cork Bulletin Board: a calendar, very useful.

    ►►Boston Bomber has been buried!!!◄◄

IN VIRGINIA! The great panic of "NOT IN MY BACKYARD!" is over. They picked a backyard to bury it in.

The enlightened and non-barbaric society of America now has to decide if they're going to stalk the groundskeeper, or break into the graveyard and deface/dig up his grave.

America seems to endorse the prospect of torturing a terrorist who has already accomplished his goals (the surviving brother), but if the other brother is dead, it's not enough: they want to desecrate his body and remains. I don't think he will personally care, wherever in the afterlife he is, but it just shows that the terrorists won again.

Everytime America pisses on their own values, the terrorists win.

Will George Bush's death get the same treatment? Or will even the most extreme Americans sigh and say "Well he was the president, we should leave him alone despite all the pain and death he caused/authorized."

►►Re: Who is buying Total War: Rome II first day?◄◄

    Reviews of TW progress:

    1) Medieval 2 Total War can be fun if you download AI bugfixes, which the base game is full of. The bugs make sieges much easier, however, since the enemy units regain morale when they're run away far enough, then change their minds and go "SACK THIS CITY!!!", then get to the town square and shit their pants and run again lol. Or how sometimes the cavalry units wouldn't run down retreating soldiers but would merely walk beside them. It goes on and on, but I remember when I bought it thinking "Wow, this is so realistic!"

    2) Empire Total War was an extreme game in my opinion. The tutorials really sucked and you had to access online tutorials to actually explain where the trade theatres were. Indian tribes in Upper Canada completely destroying the British Army HAH, didn't happen in real life! Also city battles sucked as they weren't shown as cities on the battle map, but as villages.

    3) Shogun 2 Total War: didn't buy it was we weren't asking for another Shogun. A game where pretty much each faction has the same-looking units, kind of hard to fall in love with one or the other.

Now we have Rome 2. So many features being added including sub-factions for each civilization, naval units fighting in coastal sieges/landings, and more animations for each individual soldier. Plus they just showed an imagine of Pontus and their cavalry looks badass.

Not sure which was the ideal civilization back then, however, as the Romans were fond of scourging people to death including Vestal Virgins. Then again, my homeland of Britannia, were into human sacrifices. One could argue that the Greeks were the most enlightened civilization at the time.

Well dude, it's very rare that players in TW games ever click on "auto-resolve battle", which just does a massive math calculation to determine who wins. Most of the time, they want to play in the battle. There will be state-building elements on the map and such, but it's the battles that make you see the near-reality of the "meat grinder" combat of the day.

This is in descending order, from most psychologically-damaging to least:

Taylor Swift - "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"

    Kelly Clarkson - "Stronger"

Simple Plan - "Summer in Paradise"

    Maroon 5 - "Payphone"

Bruno Mars - Everything he writes

    Lights - "Drive My Soul"

Adding: Carly Rae Jepsen - "Call Me Maybe"

Adding: Carly Rae Jepsen - "Curiosity"

Adding: Miley Cyrus - "Party In The USA"

As long as I'm not pounded heavily with K-Lite FM this summer, I may be able to recover.

    ►►Re: Is Holocaust Revisionism illegal...◄◄

The Rwandan Genocide was a state-engineered slaughter that lasted 100 days and killed an estimated 500,000 - 1,000,000 people. The Nazis had way more men, logistical support, and time (years). 6 million seems truthful.

My thread is entirely rhetorical. The German Courts may still condemn the individual for not having a factual basis for this new revelation.

Also, has Nazism really been eliminated from Germany if you can be imprisoned for saying something unpopular? The truth is, there is no actual law specifying that Holocaust Denial/Revisionism is illegal, but it's more of a hate-speech blanket law, which makes more sense, based on the idea that hate speech can lead to destabilization of society and the renewal of violent retribution.

...if you say 6 billion Jews died? Should it be illegal in Germany to say that 10 million died?

So far people end up in prison for saying less Jews died, or that the Holocaust didn't happen at all. What's the penalty for over-calculation?

Remember the film "Monster" with Charlize Theron? Such a beautiful actress, but they made her look like a real ugly crackhead hooker due to makeup effects. The most HBO did in casting Gwendoline Christie as Brienne of Tarth, was tell her to frown. Her "mannish" appearance was more prominent in Season 2 due to wearing heavy plate.

They didn't have to scout for the ugliest woman in the world for the part. They just got really lazy with makeup effects.

Even Ramsay Bolton is supposed to have chapped lips, with spittle glistening on them. They chose pretty-boy to play him instead.

Sansa Stark is about to be wed to Tyrion Lannister, and in her POV chapters she keeps thinking to herself how ugly he is, and her "armour of courtesy" forces her to keep staring. He has mismatched eyes and a really ugly face, and even walking makes his legs cramp. Peter Dinklage was a good choice however, because of his acting skill.

He's supposed to be missing half a nose, and they could done that effect with CGI, since they already did with the dragons.

    Predictions for next episodes:

    1) They will fail at Theon Greyjoy's torture by Ramsay Bolton. Or I may get surprised! At the current stage, he's expected to be racked, whipped and cut. But his real torture involves skinning his fingers, which they'll probably show next episode.

    2) There will be a total of 50 people at the Red Wedding, and that's a generous number. Don't know is HBO wants to stretch the money to pay for extras, so there might be twelve people total. A jolly feast.

    3) Sansa Stark and Tyrion's bedding: will we see any of her naked body except her back? I know she's not 18 yet. What about Tyrion? Will Peter Dinklage's cock be seen for the first time?

    Fails:

    1) Maisie Williams has a fat face now, as you can see when she was sitting in the cave with Beric Dondarrion. Plus in the books she was always throwing crabapples at Gendry and they just skipped past all that and didn't show her real personality at all.

    2) Cersei being betrothed to Ser Loras. He was never mentioned as a suitor in the novels, and later would become one of her most loathed Kingsguards.

    3) I'll keep complaining about Brienne and how attractive she is. When she rises out of the bath, she's as slim as any woman! In the books she's described as being the ugliest human in the realm (they didn't even bother with prosthetic makeup). She's described as being very hairy, hands as big as Gregor Clegane's, a massive face and broad shoulders, and muscular teats.

    4) Jaime seeming upset when describing the Sack of King's Landing. In the book, he was "floating in heat, in memory", and he never shed a tear during it. He smashes his stump against the side of the tub, causing him to faint.

Tomorrow is a new episode, I predict a 50% fail.

This is April 1st, and it's free-speech day because Bruno edited my post on this day. Therefore in circlejerk, some personal attacks are allowed today. Go nuts!

Say anything you want! Even to me! Bring your worst!

    Bruno is...well, read title.
