my biggest concern was because as an interrogator(or any role that you love) I hate when my godfather/Dragon Head gets lynched and me and my other member don't know who will be promoted. what if you gained the towns trust told the town your a certain role and you want to prove it but you cant because next night you auto-promote to Mafioso/enforcer.

wanted to throw out the idea for people that are existing mafia/triad members to be able to vote to be promoted if their Godfather/Dragon head dies. instead of it randomly going to someone in the group, this can also go for masons too.

so my idea was when the godfather/dragon head is being lynched to have a button pop up next to the mafia members names, and who ever presses it first during the lynch gets promoted to the killing role at night.

a secondary way to probably do it is to have the button pop up next to the members name on day 1 and as long as nobody clicks it, it stays there until one of the members decides they want to be promoted if their leader is being lynched. if neither member clicks it then it will auto promote like normal.

obviously this wouldn't apply if there is a godfather,consigliere,(another mafia role).. I think the consign should auto promote anyways so yeah

actually.. i have a somewhat valid reason, if you know your gf isnt that smart about the kills he makes, and you know for a fact hes being a troll and doesnt want to listen to you.. ive actually had a troll gf(not really a gamethrower) but just a gf that wouldnt listen to my advice set himself up for failure.. i wonder if it would be gamethrowing if i told my gf to attack a target(knowing that target is a veteran) but telling my gf hes a doctor if its gamethrowing.

i think that the mafia should get to choose who gets promoted to mafioso if there are 2 or more roles that are eligible for the promotion.
Ive ran into certain times where when our mafia's gf died we had already claimed we were going to do something(as a form of deception) the night before to prove our roles.
A recent example would be if the mafia had me as the framer and my other mafia buddy as the agent, since the sherriff died pretty early i was hoping as the framer to promote to mafioso since framer is somewhat useless to mafia now, but instead our important Agent promoted to mafioso after claiming lookout and yeah, ended badly.

Do you guys think mafia would be too Imba if they could choose who was going to promote, mabye they could add a promotion button the night after the gf is killed for a member to press to auto promote that night. if neither presses the button then 1 of them is auto-promoted same night.

i would keep the consigliere as an auto gf promotion cuz i think it would be too strong to give them the consig promotion ability choice.

what are your guys thoughts.. mabye we have already talked about this and i didnt find the thread? fairly new to postings things.

i think that the mafia should get to choose who gets promoted to mafioso if there are 2 or more roles that are eligible for the promotion.
Ive ran into certain times where when our mafia's gf died we had already claimed we were going to do something(as a form of deception) the night before to prove our roles.
A recent example would be if the mafia had me as the framer and my other mafia buddy as the agent, since the sherriff died pretty early i was hoping as the framer to promote to mafioso since framer is somewhat useless to mafia now, but instead our important Agent promoted to mafioso after claiming lookout and yeah, ended badly.

Do you guys think mafia would be too Imba if they could choose who was going to promote, mabye they could add a promotion button the night after the gf is killed for a member to press to auto promote that night. if neither presses the button then 1 of them is auto-promoted same night.

i would keep the consigliere as an auto gf promotion cuz i think it would be too strong to give them the consig promotion ability choice.

what are your guys thoughts.. mabye we have already talked about this and i didnt find the thread? fairly new to postings things.

Summary: Towards the end of the game after i had successfully converted matt, matt converted him to cult the next night. the next day when it was a 3:1 cultist:serial killer ratio we all were supposed to lynch the serial killer. although at first i thought he was joking, he spared the serial killers life and did not lynch him, and instead the night went as followed and the sk killed me. his second chance to make up for it was to lynch the sk the next night(mabye he had a grudge against me and wanted me killed), but he lynched the other cult the next day, causing me to lose out on my witch doctor win. i hope u deal with him harshly. thanks

with this role in play i feel like the town would be alot more overpowered since he is night immune, just saying..

i had a small idea that would benefit people that cant make up thier minds.. how about adding a Random button..

Pros : if you dont want to pick and choose at random who to to kill or investigate, you can just hit the random button and it will choose between all of the people alive in the game, it will tell you who you searched/killed afterwards so yea..

cons: the only problem i see with it is if you already searched more than 1 person as an investigative role, you might accidently search them again..

also for coroner i guess he wouldnt need a random button since he only checks dead people anyway..

if anybody claims they dont remember who they searched cuz they hit random theres always a log they can look at..
