Then pull people from other mafia sites. Sc2 is dying gotta try to get others

In all seriousness -- fm is a game and a game should be fun. The problem is you youngin's only care about winning. Life isn't about winning it's about having fun and doing good!
Nu and calix left for more than just shit posting I assume -- considering nu basically said shit posting is fine. If you want to solve a game by page 5 to you are delusional or no fun. I was glad I was mislynched in MM Bc it actually gave sk a shot -- who knows if I actually pulled posts and stuff game would have been over and it would have been disappointing imo.
No, i want people to play the games they're signing in, i don't care about winning or not, when someone only shitposts during an entire game, it's just not fun to play anymore.

Why do you think you're the number 1 shit poster ? That's not the case.

You have a reading comprehension problem -- in mm I was considered shit posting bc I wrote in verse and wrote poems. Everyone else posted straightforward so I was #1 shit poster THAT game.
I think your concerns are largely overblown. Every game I'm in it's me and fb that shit post for a little then completely scum hunt after

Easier said than done.

MM was a good game with very little shitposting, that's my point, now look at Spirits and tell me where Mesk actually played the game, that's what i mean by excessive shitposting.
If you feel like my concerns are overblown, show me where Mesk actually scumhunted, preferably on her main account.

Btw, instead of pulling people from other sites, i'm trying to improve the site's overall quality here, that might get us players back.

I was accused of shit posting that game that's why I put it in quotations.
I give everyone a pass for spirits -- it was right before thanksgiving and she said she was traveling a lot. She town read me and gave me her vote giving me the power of voting for two people. Which was great with a plurality voting system. Mesk is always active in every other game I've played with her

But you need people to be able to kick other people out. So to improve it you need more bodies and if you get better quality people that then helps to improve the site. Trying to do it now with few people won't help.
You'll attract good people if you pitch the sites uniqueness and player base and just be honest and tell people you need quality people to be able to raise the standards of the site and get rid of the undesirables.

Everyone is responsible for this community -- that's what makes it a community. Don't complain if you won't do anything and you think it's just the mods job. It's not.

I do think this community has enough good players, they just stop playing one after another for a lot of different reasons, we might at least do something about the ones we can have an influence on.

I'll try to repost.
When ika and I left this site, it was due to the toxicity that was so bad at the time, we found it impossible to enjoy ourselves here. I hate when people sign up for a game and don't play. Some joking around is fine and makes the game fun but it's when people do nothing but troll/shitpost or do nothing but lurk or make comments that do nothing for the game where it's a problem. I'm not saying I'm a great player but I do put effort into games and I feel like it's a waste if the game is dead due to lurkers/trolls/toxicity.
So my solution is to PL them. Do it every time they act that way in the game and say they are scum or anti-town and need to die.
I can't agree with this more. The only diff I have is that I would actually make it clear that it is in fact a PL and make them deal with the consequences. This allows them to change how they play if they don't want to get lynched day 1 every game.
Re: The problem with shitposting
Everything dies. Sc2mafia has its time to appreciate life and then it will cease to exist and all that will be left is a memory of it.
If the site never dies then the sites life has no meaning.
Re: The problem with shitposting
Policy lynching Grylander may have lost town Wheels on the Bus but he has improved his play since then. <3 We're even friends now
I will continue to fight the good fight and policy lynch scrubs until they improve their act.
That's being said don't worry about he site dying. Nothing can prevent that. Everything dies. The site has its fleeting moment of existence and eventually will cease to exist and all that will be left is its memory <3 appreciate its life and try to improve the quality of it by playing with honor and encouraging others to do so
But if it never dies its life was meaningless. Its a beautiful thing.
Re: The problem with shitposting
I'd suggest something like a d1 majority replace vote, but all that would accomplish would be destroying d1 communication. It would become solely about that vote if someone is being inactive/an asshole. Nothing would be accomplished d1.

That's why i was suggesting for the staff to PM the shitposters about it, solve the issue out of a game.

What we need is a community consensus of what is expected in mafia and if you cross that line you'll be punished for it.
You're signing a game with 0 intention to play? The community is going to lynch you day 1. With that sort of threat hanging over every day 1 but not necessarily always enforced (if everyone is playing its not needed) I think could go a long way.
The only problem is if people start making it something its not. You can't punish poor play for example. If a newbie like Arrow was in Spirits is just lost you need to give him help, tips on how to improve, etc. His name was being thrown around for PL for "not contributing enough" when he was just lost.
It must be solely used for players who sign to troll or socialize or whatever but never actually play.
The list of players that do this is actually very small. On average most players try to game solve or scumhunt or town hunt or slip hunt or interact with people or reaction test or do whatever they think is best to sort things and try to win. Its a very small population of players that bring the game quality down IMO.

I couldn't agree more.
