This is a basic setup meant to introduce newbie S-FM players to the differences of FM to the Mod. There are different roles, there are different mechanics, there are different alignments, some roles have different names, some roles have different variances, and no two games are the same. It combines the simpleness of Basic S-FMs with a bit of that special sauce.

Spoiler : Possible Witches :

The witches both share a night chat and know each others identities. They do not have a factional night kill.

7/18 Witch Power Core Clause:
If one witch dies, the other witch gains its power and may use it on alternating nights in addition to their usual power.
A witch performing any gained powers from a dead partner will not be seen visiting the target.

Suicide is allowed conditionally, meaning to commit suicide you must submit a two or more sentence description of why your suicide is justified for the good of your faction.
No direct quoting of feedback or night chats.
No posting for 48 hours is liable to replacement. In late game, this might be shortened to 24. I will announce this if it happens.
Other languages are allowed in minimal amount.

I like it to be more like "which witch was watching which swatch watch" :P

If the intent is to make this a newcomer game, it could be helpful to stick the name of the analogous role from the mod next to your custom names. Especially for new players, absorbing a setup with custom names / mechanics while acclimating themselves to playing Forum Mafia might not be the easiest thing.

Why not witch and hunter? (Classic Mafia Russia game)?

its very town sided on the sense that if the killing enabled witch dies that the other one has no real menas of removing towns. and could jsut turn into a night action game/POE of claims by the witch hunters alone

suggestion: give witches a means of normal night kill, if a arson/mm exist that they can activate their ability by forsaking the night kill.

does colldown trigger even if nobody is killed by the MM spree?
can you have feedback posted or an example of them?
can mason/mason leader spawn alone or do they spawn in groups?
do folower become mason leader if the orginal dies?

is someone taking no action considered a self vist for MM? what about detective?
can a misdriection witch casue self targeting?
is a doctor heal informed to either player?
can jailor jail on lynch? if so what about executions?

witch arcitect seems pointless becasue its would out the role right away

regarding the "mafioso" role:

i find that them becomeing that role is also a hinderance becasue they now lose their main source of maipulation. Esp if its a role that leaves feedback (ie roleblocker) with the loss of that said role it can easily clear several people to be towns. I would consider having it be an "addition" to the role where they can do both their night action and kill (detective would see the normal night action not the night kill)

regarding arson/witch support role: allow the support to kill off all marked tragets if arson dies. the extange for it would be forsaking normal nk and night action.

when arson ignites does it count as self visit for detective purpous?
is architect meant to target players in day? if not how does that work?

While the Architect gives players A and B a night chat but cannot see anything in it.

After the previous run of this setup so long ago I came to the conclusion that, despite the poor mafia play and the error(s) I made, town was too powerful. Running the numbers, I decided the best course of action was to remove a citizen role. This should make it easier for the mafia to win, and allows for more host freedom.

Feel free to steal this setup for your own usage, by the way! I don't mind!

It’s certainly... an experience. This is basically a test run for me of whether or not I want to try a bigger, more complex setup in the future. If I fuck up a game as small as this then I’ll probably scrap what I have in the workings.

Architect's action is a day action, and his targets receive the chat at night start. The rolecard has been updated to reflect this.
