Re: People love to random
To be fair, it wasn't completely random, 7 had a "clue" on you, even though it's obvious he's simply exe.
At least, that little clip really illustrates the problem with the mod, half of the players don't care about the outcome of the game and play only to fuck around, ruining the game for those who really want to win in the process.

meh it was completely random, that triad / mafia spoke about me at night and spy suddenly starts thinking that triad leaked names night one as bait for the spy is not a clue.
completely random lynch, just having people saying Lynch [Him] and so they did, they didn't have anything on me at all. there were no confirmed townies and or close to confirmed and or any invest roles coming up saying anything, people just voted me up, i gave my role and lw etc pretty legit.
thats what random is, they didn't have clues. it was just a spy who got fooled by some night chat from triad. what proper player would call that a clue? and as escort i can easily roleblock other people to confirm myself as either triad roleblocker or town one, either way i would be able to show off my role. but nobody cared

Re: People love to random
People still actually complain about a dead game on a dead site?

Of course that's not a clue, but i think it would have been different if he just had voted you without saying anything.
Btw, no way it's a spy, just a random bad exe.

This thread is not a complain, its a discussion about random lynching. did i really have to tell you that or was your comment entirely based on trolling? cause im not sure.

It's a complaint if you are saying that random lynching is:
"1. a situation that is unsatisfactory or unacceptable"
Random lynching is good. Stubborn people will think it is bad. Not a discussion until you realize that maybe random lynching is good,

Yes its a complaint cause i came here posting this thread in the hope that it would be heard by everyone who plays Sc2Mafia to not random lynch as much as it was before i made this thread.
The common people are always > If a player makes a thread about something an average player would not like or cry about, then its a complaint rather than having a talk on a forum with other people and their experiences about the topic.
it would be nice if other people came up and spoke about either some funny occasions or just what they think, ofcourse its kinda "self explanatory" that everyone would just say, yeah i hate it but wtf can we do about it right?
i mean, you came here replying telling me, what this thread is about, sorry thats for me to decide and not you and second, random lynching is not a good thing, it can be funny sometimes but for whoever gets lynched its not funny.

you think random lynching is good?
well i think putting 5 people on trial in one day and hear their role would be a much better option than random lynching.
when you're able to get people voted up on trial and hear their role and then inno and continue doing so, you're gonna almost have a guaranteed win. thats how proper players does it, but there is a catch cause when you start doing so in day 2, people will either listen or they will just start to say, why you random people and suddenly you're the one being voted up for randoming even if you explain it alot of people wont even give a fk.

Re: People love to random
random lynching = bad
random trialing = good

Reaffirm my stance and where I align it with yours:
You know what, I concede. It was all a term definition thing. I mistakenly assumed that you knew nothing about being able to put people on trial and then voting inno. Standard play in the sc2mafia arcade mod is to no-lynch, and then watch town sit idle as they die one by one in the night. Compared to this, my stance is still that random lynching is generally good. I agree that putting many people on trial is the strategy to go for in most setups HOWEVER due to the second highlighted text in white this strategy is not feasible in most cases.
Problems in randomly trialing people:
1. You become a target. People calling you "randomly" putting people up causes people to even gamethrow and do other things that are very stupid. In fact, more times than 6/15, this is what happens— you end up being a wasted mislynch. In fact, using your strategy works out so badly that as scum, when I hear anybody even attempt to try randoming, I jump the train and lynch them. 2. You expose roles at the wrong time. As towns usually are slow to take action, chances are you will only be able to get through 2 or 3 trials. This makes them easy targets for night kills.
Suggestion One:
Thus, unless you are feeling self-righteous, I advise you NOT to randomly put people up for trial as it will only get you killed. Instead you can give your attempt to murder someone a "basis" with some good old-fashioned slander. I like to suggest that maybe they beat their wife. If that is too cringey, you can just suggest that they don't like pasta, that'll get 'em up on the stand.
Suggestions Two:
A even better solution to this is to notrandom. Read the chat log, and notice people's voting habits, their roleclaims, and special wording that gives them away. Then you can proceed to "randomly" lynch the most suspicious player by using the strategy in suggestion one.
Just so you know, this is how I view lynching as compared to night actions:
mechanical lynching (cop visits) > night actions > not random lynching > random.org lynching > random trials > not lynching > executing the mayor by jail > lynching confirmed mayor > lynching a confirmed competent player

I would not call it random, as it is extremely rare for any human action to be truly random.
When people say they're "randoming", they're usually voting someone who stands out, someone who is attempting to blend in, or someone who is simply being a douchebag. All of those sound like good reasons to put someone on trial to me.
Plus, Exe helped push you.

your win ration is -60% because you lead people on to believe that you have a vagina and you like your pussy licked like a baby slobbering on an ice cream cone. this is why it should always be policy to random sexy isabella/ sexy kitten/ whatever sexy you think you are, or else you're screwed in MYLO cause 10/10 choose the vagina they think is behind the screen.
