I’m not sure if I explain it correctly but I’ll use an example that I think is correct. You have two wine glasses in front of you. One has poison in it, one doesn’t. The idea behind it is that you are leaving people to interpret which one is poisoned and which isn’t. Basically creating an element of confusion in a situation.

The reason for the tunnelvision is probably because of an informed, biased view that Whad might get another scum lynched, giving maximal amount of town points spite being a possible scum versus scum scenario.
