The Town Has Won

Hi there. In a recent game, I was the Witch and was up against 2 Masons. The fourth player was the Godfather who could kill. Obviously, we would've won the game as the Godfather knew I was the witch thanks to a Consigliere, and due to Witch play, I knew he was the Godfather, but as the 5th player died, the game stopped and the message 'The Town Has Won' showed up. Just what happened here?

It's a bug. That sounds like the anti-stalemate system, but it should never give a forced win-check (which the town would have won) if someone dies. There's no way that the game would have ended normally with 4 players of different roles.
