Hello everyone and welcome to... Forum Mafia XIII.

A FM where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality, where the great would not be constrained by the... whoops disregard that.

FMXIII will be starting in roughly a few weeks. This should let us all recharge our batteries and play in some other games, as well as give Yayap and I time to sort out the technical side of things.

This game will be slightly different to what people may be used to. Details won't be mentioned, but I have pulled out all the stops to make this a highly enjoyable game for everyone concerned. The goal is not to just provide you all with 'the next FM on the list', it's to try and rekindle the excitement and enthusiasm we all had when we waited for our first game. That moment when, for a week, every time you saw 'Notifications (1)' your heart would skip a beat.

As part of this goal, very few details will be leaked ahead of the game. This is one FM you won't want to skip though.

While you are playing in this game you may, of course, play in whatever S-FM games you wish. I will be imposing a restriction on M-FM sign-ups for sheer practicality reasons (though the next M-FM Host will still be voted for on time). If you do sign up to multiple games however please be considerate of the hosts concerned; activity in neither game should be diminished, just because you can doesn't mean you should sometimes :)

I will not disclose how many spaces are available.

Everybody is welcome, though please do not be offended if I ask you some questions and ask for proof you are not a smurf.

If you want to sign up with a smurf instead of your main account, PM me first instead of trying to hide it so we have no awkward situations (this game will use anon accounts anyway).

Typing /sign will declare your interest for this game.

You may /reserve if you don't consider yourself heroic enough for a full /sign.

You may /observe if you are just plain scared, observers will not be eligible to be a reserve and they will not be privy to any extra information.

You may continue to sign up to the game, reserves will most likely enter the game quite quickly and people may drop out before the game begins.

Observers get their own private forum, just like a dead chat, so they can discuss the game amongst themselves. Some people just like to watch and chat, so it's better to have a place where they can do that (it also gives me someone to chat to during the game ^^). I don't know how successful observer chat will be considering the uniqueness of this FM though.

I liked FMX. However, I do somewhat agree with the first sentence. Knowing what your signing up for get's you excited for... whatever you signed up for. Going a couple of weeks with no extra information could have adverse effects.

I believe Luna and I have found a reasonable solution to the Lurking/AFK problem that everyone will be satisfied with.

As for player numbers, I'm leaving it all up to Luna to decide who plays and who doesn't, but there will most likely be some cuts.
