You have been invited to a game that will test your wits and skill. The Prize is eternal glory in the realm of mafia, the entry fee is your life. The game will be played in the virtual world where you will be able to level up and live out your role. Lynch and kill all who oppose you and let nothing stand in your way from achieving victory, after all your life depends on it!

Day Length:
Day 0: 24 hours or until everyone posts once (no lynch)
Day 1: 48 hours or majority vote to -skip day
Day 2: 48 hours or majority vote to -skip day
Day 3: 48 hours or majority vote to -skip day
Day 4 and beyond: 24 hours lynch ends day early

Rules:
1. No outside discussion of the game. This includes PMs, Rep Messages, or IM programs like Skype. Offenders will be modkilled! You may casually mention the game as long as you don't strategise or reveal anything the other person shouldn't know.
2. No editing posts. Offenders will be modkilled!
3. Lynch votes will only count if they are in red, preferably bolded like so -vote McPwnage
4. If you do not submit night actions by the deadline they will be skipped
5. You may submit your night actions either by pm or night chat however any night actions sent by pm will override actions posted in your night chat.
6. All killing factions have the ability to use death notes
7. You can suicide however you will lose the game regardless of if your faction is victorious. In order to suicide you must pm me -suicide posting it in the day chat does not count.
8. Quoting pm's IS allowed however every single pm you could possibly get will be posted so it will be easy to fake
9. Lying about game mechanics IS allowed, I will not respond to gameplay questions unless they are posted in green
10. You have a one day amnesty for not posting, if you do not post anything for multiple days you will be replaced. Saying something like "I'm here" does not count as posting.
11. No being a gamethrowing bitch. Offenders will be permabanned from forum mafia (at least if I get my way). Observers giving out information they aren't supposed to is gamethrowing as well. Really shouldn't have to put this in here but after FMXII...

Level up: hide a member of the mafia when they are investigated by sheriff or investigator (not notified of leveling up)

Witch:

Actress:

-Level 1: Can choose any role on the role list of the game to appear as. When investigators investigate the actress she will appear as the role the actress choose. When the actress dies the role she chooses will be displayed in the graveyard instead of her real role. Will appear to sheriff as scum/mafia
-Level 2: Will appear to sheriff as the role she chose
Level up: survive until day 3

Interceptor:

-Level 1: Can set up a trap that kills the first person who visits the target, but if more than one target visits the target they will learn the interceptors identity
-Level 2: Can set up a trap that kills the first two people who visit the target, but if more than two targets visit the target they will learn the interceptors identity
Level Up: Kill two different people with your traps

Serial Killer:

-Level 1: Selects player to douce/undouce at night, can burn all douced players during the day
-Level 2: Gains night immunity
-Level 3: level 2 abilities + Burning has the option of cleaning roles, last wills and pierces immunities
Level up: (2) burn three people at once (3) burn four people at once
note: Arsonist is immune to death by burning (original arsonist, amnesiac arsonist, or soul thief arsonist) however a doused arsonist who's soul is stolen is not immune to death by burning

Cult Leader:

*the cult leader has a passive one time use vest that will be triggered if he gets attacked at night*
level 1: Recruits player to cult, changing their alignment. If the cult leader dies all cult members will suicide except for one who will be the sole survivor and the cult's only chance of winning.
level 2: cult leader has full night immunity
level 3: cult leader has detection immunity
level up: (2) have the cult reach the size of four members at one point (cult will retain night kill even if the size drops below 4 members), (3) have the cult reach the size of six members at one point

The cult leader cannot convert masons or the final boss. If the cult leader recruits either role he will receive a pm notifying him his recruit was unsuccessful. If he tried to recruit a mason the mason will learn the cult leader's identity. If a mason tries to recruit anyone who is culted they will instead kill them.

Soul Thief:

-Level 1: The soul thief can permanently take away the powers from someone each night, making them a citizen of their alignment. He cannot use their powers and will not know the abilities he took. If he targets a jester, executioner, or amnesiac than they will turn into a survivor without any vests. Players with their souls stolen will show up with the colour grey in the graveyard.
-Level 2: The soul thief has full night immunity.
-Level up: steal three souls in a row.

The target cannot be an evil role
If their target dies by means other than lynching they will be given a new town aligned target to execute

Note: If the jester or executioner is culted their winning objective DOES NOT CHANGE however the cult will be invulnerable to death from a guilty vote and the executioners target may be changed if both he and his target are in the cult.

Picks a role from the graveyard to become, will inherit their role, alignment and level progress. If they become someone with limited use abilities the abilities will be refreshed (they will have full vigi shots or boosting capabilities). Until the Amnesiac picks a role their objective will be to survive. There are two possible types of amnesiacs in the game, town amnesiacs which can only become town roles and mafia amensiacs which can only become mafia roles. Alignment will not be shown in investigation results. The amnesiacs role will not be announced to the town. The amnesiac can use their new night action the same night they remember their role. Being visited by the booster will not level the amnesiac up but instead change their alignment. If they are town amnesiac they will become mafia amnesiac and vice versa. Being culted gets rid of allignment restrictions. Cannot Replace: Godfather, Mayor or anyone outside your alignment.


Sheriff:

Level 1: Detects all evil roles, will get a universal message saying "your target is up to no good!"
Level 2: Detects benign neutral roles as well, will be able to see if target is a member of the mafia, an evil neutral, or a benign neutral and the exact role of the neutral.
level up: detect two different evil roles (framed targets count towards leveling!)

Investigator:

-Level 1: Pick a target to protect and a target to keep an eye on. If your target is attacked you and the target will both attack each other and possibly die in a duel. If the player you kept an eye on attacks your target you will survive
-Level 2: Will attack anyone who attacks who you are protecting and not be attacked back.
Level up: Survive a duel either by being healed or by having the player you kept an eye on attack the person you are protecting and manage to kill the attacker.

-Level 1: Swaps two targets making all night actions target the other player
-Level 2: Can swap target with self
Level up: Redirect a kill onto an evil role

Jailer:

Jailor selects a target to jail during the day and has the option of executing the target at night. Pierces all immunities and provides night immunity from all other attacks for jailed target. Jailing counts as a perfect roleblock

-Level 2: Gains two executions, can jail and execute on lynch days
Level up: Kill two non-town roles

FAQ:
Q: Can the Mayor be healed?
A: Yes

Q: What happens if the soul thief steals the ability of a cult leader?
A: The cult leader will lose any immunities and be unable to recruit.

Q: If the mafioso dies, does the GF start killing?
A: Both the godfather and mafioso have the option of using the nightkill. Anyone in the mafia can perform the night kill however the two hidden mafia roles will have to sacrifice their night action to do so. The godfather has the final say over who to send to kill someone, however the person doing the kill has final say over who they kill or if they skip their kill entirely.

Q: Does the bodyguard pierce immunity?
A: No

Q: Can an Amnesiac remember a benign neutral role?
A: The amnesiac cannot remember a benign or evil neutral role unless culted. A culted amnesiac can remember town, mafia, evil neutral and benign neutral roles.

Q: Can the cult leader send his cultists to recruit, or can only the Cult Leader recruit?
A: Only the cult leader can recruit

Q: Do Veteran kills pierce night immunity?
A: Yes, however you can still live if you are healed

Q: Do the Mason Leader and Cult Leader fall under the mason/cult pairing
A: Yes however if the cult leader has reached level 3 they will fall under the citizen investigation pairing

Q: Are the players notified if they are doused?
A: No

Q: Level 2 Consort Target does not receive notification they were role blocked. How does this work for investigative roles (or roles that receive night action feedback)? Do they NOT receive their night action feed back, but are not explicitly notified that they have been role blocked?
A: Investigative roles do not recieve their results but they do not recieve a notification that they are roleblocked, therefore they must deduce they what happened on their own.

Q: Level 2 Framer Not notified of leveling up. How will a level 2 framer choose their framing responses if they are not notified of leveling up? Must the Framer pick two framing options each night, i.e. If I am Level 1 frame McPwnage as Framer, If I am Level 2 frame McPwnage as Serial Killer
A: Yes you can choose how to frame someone if you are leveled up or not leveled up. This applies to the laywer as well

Q: Must the If a night immune target visits a target watched by an interceptor in addition to a non-night immune target that visits second, will the second visitor learn the name of the first visitor in addition to the name of the interceptor?target a member of the mafia? i.e. Is the Framer to be used only to target non mafia, and the lawyer is to be used only to target mafia?
A: The framer can only target non mafia and the lawyer can only target mafia

Q: Can the witch use their abilities on fellow mafia members in order to level up?
A: Witch cannot level up by using abilities on the witch's teammates

Q: If a night immune target visits a target watched by an interceptor in addition to a non-night immune target that visits second, will the second visitor learn the name of the first visitor in addition to the name of the interceptor?
A: They will learn the interceptors identity but not the person who sprung the trap's identity.

Q: Does a Level 3 serial killer get to view their targets role and last will before deciding whether or not to clean it?
A: No

Q: Does a Level 2 serial killer gain night immunity the night of his third kill in a row, or the night after his third kill in a row?
A: To avoid confusion I have changed it so that leveling up is a part of the order of operations, after kills

Q: Does the cult have a night kill? The role card for the cult leader seems to have been edited at some point to remove something about night kills and numbers of cult members.
A: Having a cult in the possible role lists is new for MFM and a lot of balancing work has gone into the possibility and the way it works with the leveling system. The cult used to get a night killl as a part of leveling but that was replaced by detection immunity.

Q: If the cult leader tries to recruit a mason, will the cult leader be attacked?
A: The cult leader will not be attacked but the mason will learn the cult leader's identity, same goes for the mason leader.

Q: Can any cult member be sent to recruit?
A: Nope, cult leader only

Q: If your abilities are stolen by a soul thief, can they be returned by a booster?
A: nope soul thief perma cuts off leveling

Q: Can a culted amnesiac replace the cult leader?
A: Yes if they end up being the only one left alive

Q: Can a town amnesiac replace the Mason Leader?
A: Yes

Q: Can a level 2 sheriff target the same player twice in order to level up?
A: No sheriff must find two different evil roles

Q: Does culting, soul theft, or dousing count as an attack that the bodyguard protects against
A: Nope bodyguard only protects against killing

Q: If a jailor is culted, will his level up conditions change to reflect his new alignment?
A: Yes the jailer will level up by executing anyone who isn't culted. Same goes with the vigilante. If they killed someone who was culted before they joined the cult they won't be able to level up because of that.

Q: Must the Mason Leader be sent to do the converting?
A: Yes

Q: If the Mason Leader dies, can the masons still recruit?
A: No

Q: Does any mason have the power to kill the cult leader if recruited?
A: If cult tries to recruit a mason then they will learn the cult leaders identity. Only mason leader can recruit

Q: Does mayor lose extra votes in the cult?
A: In the cult the mayor's vote is only worth one

A: If a role with the power to clean kills successfully manages a kill he will be pmed the last will along with the night results. You will not know the role of your target for certain though.

Q: How does a leveled up investigator interact with detection immune roles?
A: They will be seen as a citizen

Can an Amnesiac remember a benign neutral role? It only says mafia/town, but as everyone knows, there's more to the game than mafia/town.

A: The amnesiac cannot remember a benign or evil neutral role unless culted. A culted amnesiac can remember town, mafia, evil neutral and benign neutral roles.

A: Yes, however you can still live if you are healed
