An old man named Gene dies of congestive heart failure at the age of 86. His granddaughter, Clarice, attends the funeral. While at the funeral, Clarice meets the man she wishes to marry. He's a year and a half older than she, has a great job and no ex-wives or children. She fails to get his phone number or any of his contact information prior to the end of the funeral.
The week after, Clarice kills her sister.
