Senator seems to be a neutral role, but you say it needs 51% of votes... Are you saying you are going to put a serial killer senator? XD

clearing AIVION to host this as requested. OoO should be pretty self explanatory and simple (basic logic)

I have a few questions: (for how Auwt is going to run this)

1. Does a Vengeful Harpy leave the game after their wincon is accomplished, or do they just stick around knowing they've already won?
2. How much leeway does the Senator have in their actions? Can they say "we don't lynch anyone today"?
3. Can a Journalist/Radical Journalist write an article in response to "write an article to me right now to prove you have that ability"?
4. Does every role have the same chance of being the guardian angel's target, or do you plan to balance it in response to town/scum power roles?
5. What actions can a lookout see?
6. What actions go through the night a person dies?
7. What happens if a bodyguard tries to protect a jailer/kidnapper victim?
8. What roles, if any, can self-target?
9. What happens if the soul ripper targets A and B, and the soul switcher targets B and C?
10. In what sense does the Holy Spirit Guardian "choose" to save their target. Isn't it automatic?

Auwt To follow up on MM's question- Can you please clarify the Senators win condition as that its impossible unless they are the last player alive.

I will also say this setup looks like it could easily swing for one side to steamroll. Elimination of either of the TPR's or Scum PR's either verifies an outed scum PR or confirms an outed town PR as town which is town sided. Both the Vengeful Harpy and the Guardian Spirit add swing either way while the lack of mafia KPN is town sided. May balance a tiny bit better if scum rolls were merged into 1 pool. Feels a little town sided.

It also looks a little like the setup is designed around a Senator existing for balance.

I do not know if those answers fit Stealthbomber16 ideas, but here is how I am seeing them.

1. Vengeful Harpy acts like an Executioner, so I would say they say until the end of the game, even though they won.

2. As long as the demand is possible and do not break the game, I guess the Senator is authorized to ask it.

3. This point goes against Journalist/RJournalist role description, so it's game breaker, thus no.

4. Each role has the same chance of being a VH (Vengeful Harpy) target or a HGS (Holy Guardian Spirit) target. I will try my best to make sure the game is balanced.

5. Lookout even though, being Investigative, should be able to see all the different actions. Need confirmation from SB16 here, if possible.

6. Jail > Consort > Escort > Soul Swapper/Soul Ripper > Investigations, so basically all the actions can go through, except Doctor and HGS and BG.

7. IMO a Bodyguard shouldn't be able to protect from a Jail/Kidnapping. So the Bodyguard wouldn't be able to protect anything. Need confirmation.

8. Any role being targeted by Soul Swapper, Soul Ripper + Lookout and Agent. Need confirmation on Agent and Lookout.

9. The order of driving doesn't change much. If ripper drives first then in the end it's A that is being switched with C, if swapper drives first, it would also be A and C.

10. They have a one-time heal. As long as their target ends up being alive at the end of game, they win. They must intentionally use this heal, it's not automatic.

Senator earns 1 kill each time a demand isn't carried out. They can kill multiple person during a same night.
So their win condition would be to kill everyone, making him at least in a 1v1 situation, or even better in a last man standing situation.

I agree with each of the above answers except for number 2. Senator should not be allowed to ask for a no lynch.

I don’t believe that the Senator is necessary for game balance. Senator adds additional volatility to the game, more so than the other 3p role options. It depends on how swingy you want the game to be.

I will edit the setup to clarify these things at some point soon, don’t let me forget Auwt it will probably need to happen tomorrow.

Please please please do not edit it while the game is ongoing. Lol

By this I mean it will rattle the foundation of an ongoing game. Players reference this page and listen to what the host says when questions are asked. If you started making changes to this page you could change something players have asked the host about that could result in a mess and impact the game.

The night length is sorta missing, I deemed 24 hours is enough.
