You'll probably have noticed by now that if you were affected in the server crash, all your previous posts are now posted by a "guest" account. I am working to restore these posts to their rightful owners, so that they show up as belonging to you rather than to a guest. I can also restore your post counts this way. Post here if you want these posts restored.

Note that all keepers have already been restored.

Just to let everyone know, to restore the forum back to it originally was is currently a pain for the admins and mods, and due to many of the accounts that got migrated over and the posts they made being tracked would require the admins to individuality link each post to you. Instead of complaining (yes i know you may be pissed) lets the admins and mods figure out and fix the mess, and hopefully your post number will be returned. Complaining will not do you any good, only piss of the people who have been working on fixing it.

I'm sure it is a pain, but aside from the general disappointment in other threads (none of which are really blaming or flaming the people responsible), we are not complaining. A service was offered, and several people have shown polite interest in taking Oops up on it if he doesn't mind.

We don't have to individually link each post to you. Although I have to do it individually for each user (hence this thread) linking the posts back to you is done in bulk and is a relatively quick process.
