Hello guys! While DR is recovering the forum usernames, we should play another simple small Forum Mafia game - for 13 people total. The Electro Maniac returns, and the setup will be looking like that:

Godfather
Random Mafia
Random Mafia

Electro Maniac
Hidden Neutral

Sheriff
Investigator
Doctor
Jailor
Hidden Town
Hidden Town
Hidden Town
Hidden Town

Hidden Mafia roles: Consigliere, Consort, Framer, Blackmailer, Janitor, Drug Dealer, Fabricator, Mafioso
Hidden Neutral roles: Jester, Executioner, Witch, Survivor, Merchant, Student, Amnesiac
Hidden Town roles: Vigilante, Escort, Detective, Lookout, Bus Driver, Journalist, Bodyguard, Veteran, Armorsmith, Coroner

Like Mini-FM II, the game will start with day instead of night. On the first day the town will elect the Town Leader. A Town Leader has the power of 2 votes instead of one. Whoever gains the most votes will become Town Leader. You must put a vote on first day; otherwise you may be exiled from the game or replaced with substitite. If two or more players are tied for being a Town Leader, a second round of voting will start between then. Day 1 will end as soon as everyone votes and the Town Leader is elected. Mafia chat will be availible only after Day 1 ends.

You should already know what each role does, but if you don't feel free to ask me here or send a private message. The day and night should last roughly 12-18 hours each (since I hava a job life too).

So, without ado, let the sign-ups start! It will be a good place to take your time before FM IX and Mini-FM IV come back alive. Hurry up while signups are still open! (Mod edit: This setup was not approved and sign-ups violated the rules, so they were edited out.

"Your target is seen wearing a white coat. He may be a Doctor, or a Electro Maniac."
"Your target owns weapons. He may be a Jailor or a Vigilante. He may also be a Mafioso or Fabricator."
"Your target has an unhealthy obsession with dead bodies. They may be a Coroner or a Janitor, or they may be a Witch."
"Your target likes to get close to people. They may be a Bodyguard or Escort. They may also be a Consort or Drug Dealer."
"Your target has an aptitude for working behind the scenes. They may be a Lookout or Bus Driver. They may also be a Framer or Blackmailer"
"Your target asks a lot of questions. They may be an Amnesiac or Student. Alternatively, they may be a Detective."
"Your target is paranoid and likes to surround himself with protection. He may be a Veteran or an Armorsmith, or just a Survivor."

Really? I though the small setup with 13 or less people could be posted without approvals. Well, if you say so, you can then ask DK to remove this thread. I'll simple take my time then and wait for most of guys to come back.

By the way, how approval process is working here? Do hosts need to wait for few days before thier setup becomes approved?

In the wider world of Mafia in general there are some setups which have been standardized by the community. In the same way there are popular builds in Starcraft (4 gates, 3 rax, 6 pool, etc.) there are popular builds (C9, F11, etc.). As Oops stated, anyone wishing to host one of those particular setups will automatically be approved (you'll still need to go through the appropriate steps, but you'll be approved immediately).

I suggest you also read http://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/showthread.php/4234-S-FM-vs.-M-FM-(Read-This)

I'll move your thread over to the Setup Approvals section when I get my mod powers given back to me.

Hooray I have my account back, sort of :D

This setup has been DISAPPROVED. No citizens and at least Eleven explicitly non-normal roles in the list, as well as a custom Town Leader mechanic.

For the setup to be approved it must be toned down, and any inclusion of custom roles and mechanics should be explained in a PM to me.

Ok then, Luna, what are those eleven roles? I'm sure Electro Maniac is one of then, but what are other non-normal roles? Can I allow to keep at least Drug Dealer?

Non-normal means roles that do weird things in the game. For example: Bus Driver (switches people), Witch (controls people's night actions), Jester (Wants to get lynched instead of normally trying to avoid it). Normal doesn't mean "I've seen this role before", it means "doesn't mess with the simplest rules of the game".

I saw you said in the other thread that you have to gain the mod's trust back before you can host an M-FM again, but that's not the case. This setup (with the addition of some citizens) could be a M-FM, but you're applying to do a small setup, so you have to conform to the rules of that.

It's like you have all this experience with Sprite, but you're trying to apply to make Coke with Sprite's formula. Sorry for the bad analogy, I really couldn't think of any other way to explain it.
