Well, my "hey arnold" idea was a spur of the moment thing, but this other cartoon idea is one I have been mulling over constantly and I would love to see it happen. So I present to you my X-Men themed FM game. I would be willing to host just to see this happen, but of course that means it will be a S-FM, so I'm not sure if it will fit, but here's what I have.

Story: Just as in the show, Mr. Sinister has set up his domain in the Savage Lands, and fate has drawn Professor X and Magneto to be stranded in the same area, with their followers approaching to look for them. For now, Magneto's and the professor's forces are united against a common enemy. However, Apocalypse has already brain-washed some of the mutants. When everyone finds each other, how will they find out who is for real and who is not?

I want the roles list itself to be normal, unfortunately I only have a mild grasp of what that means, maybe this will be ok:
Mr. Sinister (Godfather)
Hidden Sinister Follower
Hidden Sinister Follower
Professor X (Sheriff)
Beast (Doctor)
Hidden X-Men
Hidden X-Men
Hidden X-Men
Hidden X-Men
Citizen
Citizen
Citizen
Apocolypse (Serial Killer)

Hidden Sinister Follower: Consort, Framer, Mafioso, Grave Robber, Consigliere
Hidden X-Men: Investigator, Whore, Doctor, Bodyguard, Escort, Detective, Lookout, Coroner, Vigilante

Most roles will have a unique name from the show, and most will be mutants (this depends on which roles are rolled). However, because Apocalypse has recruited some of the X-Men, even if players can guess what mutants are in the game they will not know which side each mutant is on (except of course the ones specified above).

Now here is the twist, and probably the point of contention: I wish that each mutant have a mutant power that they can use exactly once during the game (yes, Fragos partially inspired this mechanic). The mutant power, if used wisely, can give each role an edge. The players will have the full list of the types of mutant powers, but will not know which roles have which mutant power (although some will be more obvious). Mutant powers, unless otherwise specified, can be used independently of their night actions.
---
Here is a WIP of the mutant power types, written generally so as to not match them to a specific character. Note that these are NOT unique and the same type could be used for different roles, on either faction:
---
Perfect Veteran type: Anyone who approaches you with weapons will not attack you - instead, they will be shot. The shot counts as a normal attack.

Actress type: Choose a target. If and only if you are killed the same night or the night after you use this power, you appear in the graveyard as that target (using their name and role). If True type power is used on you that night, this power is not used, but not wasted either.

Perfect Shot type: Must be used with your kill action. Your kill action will pierce immunity, healing, swapping, and regeneration (see below). Your shot is still affected by bodyguards however.

Regeneration type: You will survive one extra attack the night this is used.

True type: Choose a target. That target cannot be framed at night, and cannot use Actress Type that night. If used on Mr. Sinister, it removes his detection immunity for the rest of the game.

Absorption type: Choose a target. If that target has not used their mutant power, then you can absorb it, but you must use it the following night or it will fade away. If that target has used their power or their power is also Absorption Type, then this power is wasted. This power works on both living and dead targets.

---
Role Cards (Unless it's a specified character, role cards are written in general language):
---
You are Mister Sinister (Godfather)!

You sense the futility in Xavier's happy dream of co-existing with humanity as well as Magneto's preparations for war. You know that mutants are not at their highest potential and will waste no time in seeing what that potential is - and use it for your own power. You have managed to get two mutants under your control in solitude before their reinforcements have arrived. Together the three of you will strive to take control.

Night Action: Be sent for a kill.

Mutant Power: ??? x2

Notes:
-You are not invulnerable to death.
-You can use your mutant power twice instead of once.
-Initially, you appear to be an inactive citizen to the Sheriff, Investigator, Lookout, and Detective.
-If True Type power is used against you, from then on it exposes your true alignment to the Sheriff, and your visits to the Lookout and Detective.

Goal: Defeat the X-Men and Apocalypse.

---
You are Consort!

You can use your abilities to stop an enemy from using their own.

Night Action: Be sent for a kill, or roleblock a target at night.

Mutant Power: ???

Notes:
-You cannot be roleblocked.

Goal: Defeat the X-Men and Apocalypse.

---
You are Framer!

You can use your abilities to make an enemy appear to be a random role in your alignment. That target will also cause false visits for the Lookout and Detective.

Night Action: Be sent for a kill, or frame a target at night.

Mutant Power: ???

Notes:
-If your target has True Type power used on them, then they will not be framed that night.

Goal: Defeat the X-Men and Apocalypse.

---
You are Consigliere!

You can use your abilities to help narrow down the roles of your enemies.

Night Action: Be sent for a kill, or investigate a target at night.

Mutant Power: ???

Goal: Defeat the X-Men and Apocalypse.

---
You are Mafioso!

You can use your abilities to kill someone for Mr. Sinister.

Night Action: Be sent for a kill.

Mutant Power: ???

Goal: Defeat the X-Men and Apocalypse.

---
You are Grave Robber!

You can use your abilities to gain the abilities of those who have passed away.

Night Action: Be sent for a kill OR rob a dead player's night action OR use a robbed night action.

Mutant Power: ???

Notes:
-You do not rob mutant powers, only night actions.
-If the night action you rob had limited uses, you will receive the remaining uses at the target's time of death.

Goal: Defeat the X-Men and Apocalypse.

---
You are Professor Charles Xavier (Sheriff)!

Often referred to as Professor X, you feel that mutants are still humans, and as such mutants and non-mutants should strive to live together. However, Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse stand in your way. Your telepathic abilities are unmatched and can be used to determine whether your colleague's minds have been touched by Mr. Sinister.

Night Action: Check a target for their alignment.

Mutant Power: ???

Notes:
-You can find Mr. Sinister's forces and Apocalypse. However, Mr. Sinister himself will appear to be of the X-Men until True Type is used on him.

Goal: Defeat the forces of Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse.

---
You are Beast (Doctor)!

In an effort to rid yourself of your ape feet, you instead managed to make yourself look even less normal with your giant build and blue fur. However, the look has grown on you, and the build prevents others from taking you lightly. You are as loyal to Professor X as anyone can be, and your charitable knowledge can help protect the X-Men - if you can figure out who is still on your side.

Night Action: Protect a target from one attack at night.

Mutant Power: ???

Notes:
-You will be informed if your target was attacked.
-You will be informed if your healing was pierced by Perfect Shot type.

Goal: Defeat the forces of Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse.

---
You are Investigator!

You can use your abilities to approximate other people's roles.

Night Action: Check a target to narrow their role down to several possibilities.

Mutant Power: ???

Notes:
-Your investigation of Mr. Sinister remains unchanged if True Type power is used on him.

Goal: Defeat the forces of Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse.

---
You are Whore!

Your abilities will roleblock any who try to visit you.

Night Action: Go on alert. When on alert all, of your visitors are roleblocked.

Mutant Power: ???

Notes:
-You may go on alert any 3 nights.
-While on alert, you cannot be roleblocked and are invulnerable to attack, except for the Perfect Shot type.
-You will know how many targets you blocked if you go on alert.

Goal: Defeat the forces of Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse.

---
You are Doctor!

Like Beast, your abilities can save people's lives.

---
You are Bodyguard!

You can save others by going toe-to-toe with your attacker, but both of you will die.

Night Action: Choose a target. If that target is attacked, both you and the attacker die instead of the target.

Mutant Power: ???

Notes:
-If you die in a duel, you cannot be healed by others.
-If Perfect Shot type is used on your target, it is redirected onto you.

Goal: Defeat the forces of Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse.

---
You are Escort!

Your abilities stop others from using their own.

Night Action: Roleblock a target at night.

Mutant Power: ???

Notes:
-You cannot be roleblocked.

Goal: Defeat the forces of Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse.

---
You are Detective!

Your abilities let you track where others go at night.

Night Action: Choose a target. You will see who that target visits.

Mutant Power: ???

Notes:
-Until True Type power is used on Mr. Sinister, he will appear not to visit anyone at night.
-Successfully framed targets will appear to visit someone that they did not.

Goal: Defeat the forces of Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse.

---
You are Lookout!

Your abilities let you watch who visits others at night.

Night Action: Choose a target. You will know everyone that visited that target at night.

-Successfully framed players may appear to visit your target when they did not.

Goal: Defeat the forces of Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse.

---
You are Coroner!

Your abilities let you examine dead bodies for clues.

Night Action: Choose a dead target. You will learn their true name and role, and how they died. You will also learn all of their night actions.

Goal: Defeat the forces of Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse.

So happy I can edit my post again. Some updates:
-In a massive herpaderp I confuddled Apocalypse with Mr. Sinister. So I put in Mr. Sinister as the leader of the mafia team.
-Yes I changed the colors. Because these ones kind of make more sense, and it's a relief from the normal colors eh?
-Replaced the psychic type, check it out.
-Amended the perfect shot type to ignore swaps.
-Added the mafia role cards. Please critique my settings for these roles, especially the godfather's. I am seeking a nice middle between the normally black-and-white options for the godfather.
-Added Coroner as a possible town role.

I'll add more stuff later. I don't plan on hosting this for a while so it will be a project I can brew slowly but surely.

Note that for simplicity's sake I am classifying both Xavier's and Magneto's forces as "X-Men".

Updates:
-Added town and sk role cards.
-Changed the Serial Killer's name to Apocalypse (makes more sense that way!).
-Made clear that Perfect Shot type does not pierce bodyguards or lures.
-Removed self-swap type because I didn't like it.
-Made Psychic Type power prevent target from using Actress Type that night.
-Made Absorption Type unable to retrieve another Absorption Type power.

I'm having more fun with this than anyone should...:p

You won't get this approved. I don't agree with the rules but you need to read this if you want to host a S-FM.

http://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/showthread.php/4234-S-FM-vs.-M-FM-(Read-This)

It must resemble a normal game and yours definitely doesn't.

Yes, you are right, after reading the rules, I might need to delete the Lure Type power, janitor, kidnapper and busdriver.
But everything else checks out (my checks are in yellow).

Closed Normal Games should satisfy the following rules:
The game should have at least one Mafia or Werewolf group (of at least two members). A second anti-town group can be given a separate Mafia family name, or can be a Werewolf group. There should be no more than two mafia/werewolf factions, and no more than one Serial Killer. Check.
The game must contain at least one Vanilla Townie (allowed names include: Townie, Vanilla Townie, Innocent Townsperson, Citizen). A sample Role PM for the Vanilla Townie must be included in the rules post. 3 Citizens. Check.
Mechanics which are explicitly Non-Normal include:
All of these check. Except for this one which my Lure Type power, kidnapper, and busdriver defies:

Night action redirection (no Bus Driver, Lightning Rod, Nexus, or Redirector).

Yada yada yada down to this part where I have conflicts:

Roles which are explicitly Non-Normal include:
Janitor and Bus Driver in this list:
Non-Sane Cop (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Cop#Sanity), Blank Vig (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Vigilante#Variations), Non-Sane or Quack Doctor (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Doctor#Variations), Janitor (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Janitor), Survivor (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Survivor), Lyncher (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Lyncher), Cultist (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Cultist), Jester (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Jester), Mafia Mason (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Mason#Variations), Bus Driver (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Bus_Driver), Lightning Rod (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Lightning_Rod), Nexus (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Nexus_(Role)), Redirector (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Redirector).
Modifiers which are explicitly Non-Normal include:

N/A
Normal Games may use any amount of approved roles (so long as there is at least one Vanilla Townie) in conjunction with approved modifiers (http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Category:Role_Modifiers). Check (I think. I haven't specified all of the rules concerning player behavior yet, but I don't think they will be out of the ordinary.)
New/variant roles may be included in limited number (no more than 1 in a Mini, 2 in a Large), and should be based on the usual role mechanics: Killing, Protecting, Investigating, Blocking, Voting, Enabling and Communication. No new roles. Check.

After I make the above changes I should be set. But I'll take some time as to how exactly to make those changes. If the mutant powers count as making the roles "variant roles" (not sure how that's defined exactly) then I can just delete those too.

I think the mutant powers are the problem but you'll have to ask Luna.

Aside from the Mutant Powers for everyone it looks mostly normal, PM me with complete setup

I will so do one of these days. For now I added some roles I forgot about: Consig (replacing the Janitor) and Vigilante. EDIT: Also added investigative pairings.
