FM IX will be start shortly after False's FM ends. There is no concrete date but that will happen sometime in a week.

Player cap is undefined FOR NOW but if more sign up, it can be re-balanced slightly, so you're almost guaranteed a spot.

-One sign-up per IP.
-Anonymous accounts.
-Being inactive for more than a day+night cycle will get you modkilled. If you're lurking and have no night action you'll be warned and modkilled if you don't respond.
Exceptions can be made but only if you settle it with either of hosts beforehand.

Considering there's only 32 of 34 on the list, having two reserves rather than having them officially in the list seems odd.

But there's still some time before it starts, so things will get worked out hopefully.

Edit: That being said, after some research, reserve seems like a fair place for you at the moment. It hasn't started yet, maybe it will change, but Philie and Oops are (obviously) the ones with final say on that.

It was 34, but then I saw there were 38 + reserves. I'm assuming that it was changed to "undetermined" at that point.

I think we're at the upper limits of sanity in terms of numbers right now though. Maybe somebody with FM experience could comment on the accuracy of that statement, though.

Personally I can keep track of 38 distinguishable players(names and avatars are important here) mentally without the need to take notes. But it's disappointing to see the continual need for hosts to make everyone happy by increasing their setup size to meet demand.
