A bodyguard blocks doc, and doc saves bodyguard.
Does the bodyguard kill and live, or does doc save the bodyguard?

Target doctor: bodyguard dies and attacker dies.
Target bodyguard: Nobody dies.

So even if the doctor is saving the bodyguard and the doctor gets targeted after the bodyguard blocks, the bodyguard will die?

That's disappointing, to say the least.

No, it makes it so sk and mafia don't auto certain situations. Before the change to bodyguard, it was very unlikely for serial killer to win.

I agree, I know it sounds awesome but it made the BG too good against non-immune killing roles(SK mostly). Being able to protect a doctor indefinitely just seems a little cheap to me.
