Because Gluttony ignores healing and it was unlikely for any other demon to attack Tiberius. And lo and behold.. a heal would have made no difference except that Dimwit would've said we went to heal Tiberius and failed.

because he wanted sin to win, it is obvious as he threw that whole demon's unsealing themselves bit in the middle of the game and if demons weren't going to unseal themselves with Ganondorf identifying Zach and Phillie we could have easily won the game.

Okay. I know I fucked up big time with day 5 claim, but it wasn't because I forgot who I sent to heal who. I was realy busy during that night, so I didn't have time to say who I was going to send to heal who, so I send DR a pm saying "Send Hamlyx to protect Auckmid, Send Sumi to protect Fred" without thinking to tell my teamates. However, I guess that Sumi must have send in her night action saying to heal Fred, and DR must have decided to take her PM over mine. So at the end of the night, both legionaires were sent to protect Fred due to my first communication fuck up, but I was unaware of this. The moment I saw Sumi dead on day 5, I assumed that sin had targeted me, so I decided "Well, Eternity found me, Sin has a good idea who I am. If I claim now, humanity will know who I am, and it might be possible to mislead sin in to thinking I was Pilate".

You know what basicaly happend from there. It was a big mistake, and I will own up to it. However, please remember that this is just a game, and I was not trying to ruin it in anyway. I feel bad for it, particualy towards Lix and Fred, even though they both won anyway.

A weird game all round.

Some self-centred observations; I'm really proud of my play in this game, I made the right plays at the right times to make Sin think I should be witched/lynched as a probable Angel, Eternity recognised me as a friend and played along with my scheme, and at the very least many people thought I was a Humanity PR/legionnaire recruit. I'm just annoyed I caved at the end and went over to Sin, I was angry at how the game went so I thought I'd try and screw over the other people who voted with Sin by flipping myself (possibly making Sin kill me and losing the trust of others).

I agree with MVP/LVP awards, but don't put much weight behind either. Auckmid, I think circumstances didn't completely favour you but it was still a bit facepalm ^^

Also playing bad was the original startegy of mine where i didnt put effort into the game because i didnt know my alignment. that way i didnt have a chance to imbalance it and fuck it up for either of factions. plus overall quite slow and action-less pace of the game helped ofc.

Would never call you LVP, Philie. Your call on hamslyx was a good one. Without it, Sin would probably have lost because the ability for Eternity + Humanity to night kill would have swayed votes in Eternity's advantage even after Auckmid's death.

A fittingly shitty end to a horrifyingly shitty game. There is no denying the gargantuan amount of screwing-over committed by Auckmid and BorkBot/Northstar. Both of these people failed to take the wise advice of their team-mates into account (With Rome having Elixir and Fred, and Eternity having Illidan and Dimwit - all of whom were disregarded). Eternity, Humanity and Rome could/should have won this, but somehow they managed to fuck themselves over. While Dimwit, Illidan, Fred and Elixir played very well for their cause, it was just not enough.

That is not to say that Sin didn't play well - quite the contrary, their team was compromised of only the pro-est of pros. Vornskr's stunt was particularly skillful, especially considering he didn't even have night-chat to organise it. FalseTruth's webs of lies and deceit, no matter how frustrating they were, were also achieved without night chat and must be acknowledged as well. Bravo to both of you!

Oh yeah, and Zane wins the Best Rage Comics award.

What really annoyed me was the amount of bullshit that went on in day chat. Indeed, with everyone trying to win over precious followers, the shit of bulls was spouted with particular vigour and zeal. And then, of course, poor old DR was confronted with the challenge of trying to split up his time for both his Finals and the FM game he was hosting. Both of these things are very time consuming, as you well know. Surely someone should have foreseen this development, and the burden of FM Game Master given to someone who would be relatively free for the appropriate period of time. However, what has happened has happened, and after all this mayhem I can say only this:

If yes, you'd know that healing Auckmid would've made zero difference. You'd also know that Illidan was actually critically wrong in some of his assumptions and that I did act on the input of my peers, just not Illidan's input.

The only thing I really regret now is not having the guts to come forward and claim Angel and lie about healing Auckmid, because I was quite sure that Zack had to be Gluttony for Tiberius to be killed that night.

I still think that Eternity should have tried. It would have been justifiable if you had tried to heal Auckmid and he got killed anyway, but you didn't even try, and that's different. Also, Auckmid didn't even have a Legionnaire on himself -------> 0% protection.

Auckmid didn't have a Legionnaire on him because CmG didn't want to die to Gluttony in case Tiberius got attacked by him, which is what happened.

Never said that Illidan didn't want him healed at all on night 6, he didn't want him healed at all on night 5 and he wasn't trying very hard to convince me on night 6.

Saying we should have healed him in hindsight is questionable because the results show that my initial reasoning was correct. Do you really believe they'd attack him without Gluttony? The heal action would almost definitely be wasted. What we should have done was to instruct Dimwit to lie in case Auckmid did die.

I did feel really guilty when I first saw Auckmid died, but looking back it wasn't that big a mistake at all and to say I screwed the game over is pure closed-minded bollocks.

I hated this game not for it's setup, but for the kind of lies that it promoted and the boring day chats.

75% of lies were all about the setup and mechanics and not about any information anyone had. Then Eternity screwed up, not by not healing Auckmid, but by NOT LYING and admitting that they didn't.

When trying to lynch Ambient, your best arguments had nothing to do with the game, you resorted to name calling and some sense that it was the honorable thing to do. You guys were so blinded by the theme that it became retarded to even try to reason with you.

I won't complain that I died, but it should have been by other means. Not the faction I was helping the most.

Btw, NO one should have gotten away with what I pulled off day 2. Openly admitting to be siding with the enemy. Only a few brave souls had the nerve to even vote me. There was no defined Jester in this setup, why the hell didn't you guys lynch me? You all made your choice right there and then to side with Sin.

I'm pretty sure the majority of the lies about the setup weren't even intentional lies. Some of it just wasn't very specific and lots of people were confused.

As for your Sin support posts, most people thought it was a false claim to figure out people's loyalties. Still, I was surprised that Sin killed you for it. That made little sense.

Problem is that few dared to challenge his stand, even if they do not bother lynching him. One threat of "You die tonight", and they shut up. Some assumed that he is a humanity PR and let that pass, but they forgot that traitorous PRs and commoners are no different from sinners. But I think most believed that Yayap is WIFOMing to catch baddies - like me.

I guess I would fit on that list as well, though the motives I gave for lynching FT did match your own. Problem was that you were the first who reasoned that I was an angel hiding in plain sight and if I had tried to reason with you, I'd have others inspect me with a magnifying glass. I also understand Illidan for not trying to reason with you, because it was in his best interest to keep annoying people to look like a bored commoner who just wanted the bad guys to die without any motivations beyond that. He might have been killed sooner if he had behaved differently.

Maybe so, but he could have been a demon and he was also drawing some votes away from the popular bandwagons at the time, much like FalseTruth. Oddly enough, he did contribute to said bandwagons himself.

I did, however, forget one very obvious variable: DR. In hindsight, it should've been obvious that DR would give Sin Beezlebub in an attempt to balance the game.... I'm a fool for not realizing it until it was too late...
