Elixir and I have both shown interest in an Assassin's Creed themed Forum Mafia. I've assembled two roles list, one for each era as the game has two protagonists. (Minus Desmond)

ATM you only have 29 people, majority of times it's like 40 or something. I think you need more town roles and neutrals. like an SK, maybe? up to you

It's a demo list, I know what's missing and how many people are included.

One thing I think everyone needs to realize in terms of game balance is that the majority faction CANNOT have the win condition of survival. It is far too volatile and leaves no real goal for the flow of day.

Also, theme really doesn't fit too well. Assassins don't kill innocents, period.

Im going to have to agree with Jack on this one on both points. Neutrality for the biggest faction leaves nothing to be discussed during day time because many simply won't care. It encourages lurkers.

Also, story wise, assassins killing peasants? Sure, I did it a lot in AC2 for fun but that's not how they do things, and it even proved it by saying not to kill the peasants or Desmond would be desynched.

Elixir has this theme on the down-low. Stay tuned.

I do like the general theme though.

Thing is, I prefer Altair and the 13th Century. Hell, I did my dissertation and thesis on the Crusades, and love the conflict between Saladin and King Richard which was the setting. Most importantly, I gave a bloody lecture on the Military Orders, especially focusing on the Knights Templar and the Hospitallers. My main problem with doing this theme though is that it's a tad too similar to the current FM - the Holy Land, ancient times (okay like 1300 years apart but the same kind of landscape/beliefs/etc.).

I wasn't involved with the FM set in the Vatican but I'm pretty sure the Ezio Auditore theme is very similar to that.

The chance to use the AC music would be great, but I think inspiration needs to come from elsewhere for the time being. Like... a Rapture theme! One of these days I'll post a thread with suggested roles and stuff on the Bioshock idea. Imagine the possibilities, we've got the civil war, people splicing, and some cool Big Brother/Little Sister type stuff eh? Would you kindly let me host that FM?

I am writing some mechanics I will be only sharing with one or two people to balance... I think you guys will really enjoy it. No team in my game will win without teamwork.

The RP is going to be written outside the main games timeline in order to prevent game spoilers, however, I'm an AC lore nerd... so you may learn something you didn't know along the way.

The theme is a suggestion, I suck at balancing it's a demo list for ideas. And Peretto, may I aid you in the lore? I spent hours browsing that wiki when I'm bored.

You're correct, but I think I've made my message clear. We need an Assassin's Creed themed FM. I'll remove the role directory and win conditions, as it's obviously flawed, my mistake.

On a side rant... when the fuck is Assassin's Creed gonna leave Ezio Auditore alone? The general premise of AC was fantastic, a chance to hop through time and space living out the memories of Assassins throughout the world and the ages. I wants my ACIII. I want an AC set in 18th Century France or something :S

i daresay, you could make the Templars as town leadears that the assasins need to kill instead of two mafia factions.
perhaps 2 competing/fragmented group that tries to eliminated the templars alone?

I'm sure someone out there found the hint.
