On a more serious note, I just don't think the slow pacing is for me. Atleast it always seems to have rather slow pacing and that's just not my cup of tea. I do like it when stories make it into the world wide web though, it's always fun for everyone when big things happen.

You are so right about that. The headline events such as massive battles and epic scams have brought lots of attention to online gaming and facilitated the growth of not just Eve but other MMO's

I run in Cobalt Edge with a good group of people. I can generally be seen clearing Drone Hoard sites earning 30Mil per income tick.

I made an account for this game by request a while back. Kinda just ended up logging in once a week to do the training and didn't play much. Did that for like a year and then walked away.
