If night length for the main site FM is extended to 48 hours, nights will be extended to 48 hours to match the FM (So we would be in night when they are in day and vice versa).

I doubt players who are in the FM will be playing in this EPIC S-FM. Since it's a very casual game, I wouldn't be opposed to extending day and night length beyond 48 hours for a change (something our site hasn't done recently or at all.) Considering these setups typically last between 3-7 game days, we'd be looking at 9-21 days if we stuck to 48-24. If we doubled that to 96-48 we could play this EPIC S-FM for 18-42 days. ORRRR, if we QUADRUPLE the day and night lengths, we could play for 36-84 IRL days!!! ORRRR we could make this game a MARATHON! Where each day and night lasts a MONTH. We could play this game for up to 14 MONTHS! And Savor EVERY post! Imagine the ISOs!!! It would be EPIC!!!

Joining reasonably late, and not having much of an interaction with previous games, my opinion probably isnt regarded as highly, but if I may propose my opinion regardless; 48 hour days are long enough, and I always believe in night being less than the day, sometimes slightly more than 1/2, but usually 50% day length, before I lose interest. I can, to a degree, agree with frogs post from earlier about longer days, but no more than 24hr. It might become a stretch for some of us.
