REQUEST: Replays of Rare Role Wins

In connection with updating the Wiki, I'm working on adding screenshots of all the different role wins. So far, I've posted screenshots of the Witch and Judge solo wins. If anyone has replays where any of the other roles won (particularly rare ones -- Survivor, Jester, Amnesiac, etc.), please upload them here or send me a PM with the replay. I'll take whatever people have though. I will also update this post to list what I need and what I already have.

Also, as a heads up, since we're uploading these images to the Wiki, it would be preferable if the names of the winning player(s) weren't profane / explicit, lol. Personally, I don't care, but in terms of optics to the outside world / newer players, that's probably not the best idea.

Ordinarily, this wouldn't be such a difficult task, but with the 3.0 update to Starcraft II, all previous replays are unfortunately unwatchable (at least for the time being and perhaps permanently so). Thanks!

Based on the date, that save was from SC2 2.0, right? That's been the issue with a lot of replays -- unless it's been freshly played (i.e. since the 3.0 update), no dice because of Blizzard changing the replay format and not supporting the old ones anymore. Appreciate your help though.

we don't work together we basically don't kill each other we say roles in PM and its done we have no more communication after that

Couple things -- you linked it from your desktop. You need to uploaded it for us to see it.

Also, it's pretty much cheating (or at least, Skyping / out of game communication) if you're consulting each other outside of the game and leaving information about each other's roles. Whether it benefits either of you or not is irrelevant -- it's information that you didn't get within the four corners of the game. I.e. from an investigation or in-game lead.

EDIT: Not agreeing to kill each other is also impermissible collaboration. You shouldn't treat anyone differently based on knowing who they are in a game.

We all play with friends.
We don't tell them our roles though.

On an unrelated note, the replay does seem to suggest that some targeted PMing / potential Skyping was taking place in the game, especially in connection with your comments above. Player punishments aren't my jurisdiction on the site, but at the very least, I'd strongly advise you not continue your coordination with that other player as you appear to have done in this game. I used to submit a ton of reports in my day and if I were in this game, I'd probably be pretty unhappy at the ending given how the MM won and you seemed to know his role through PMing him to ask (as you were an Escort).

Speaking as someone who used to be the Warden, I recommend you don't do that shit anymore / be more discreet. All it takes is someone posting a report for you to go on the watchlist. Be careful!

Nothing wrong with having fun, but you should also be fair to the other players as well, who are also trying to have fun. Practically speaking, no one is going to care if you talk to your friend AFTER one of you dies, as long as you're not talking about information that hadn't already been disclosed in the game. It's the coordination while you're both alive and based on knowing each other's in-game names which is potentially more problematic.

Yeah, pretty much this. You're in a post full of Mafia staff -- we're kinda strict with respect to the rules. :)

At the very least, we strongly encourage you not to do this in the future, because if this particular replay got reported, you'd probably get penalized for what happened. Have fun, but be fair to the other players of course -- part of being a good member of the community.

It's actually not hard at all, in the event that there's a solo WD who never pulls off a conversion, but manages to survive until the final two. Or converts one person, but that one person dies during the game, but the WD still manages to finish along with one Townie and wins the tiebreak.

In any event, please do not gamethrow, cheat, or the like to get solo wins / procure win replays for the Wiki. I appreciate your help and enthusiasm, but that doesn't take precedence to your responsibility as a member of the Mafia community -- i.e. no cheating or gamethrowing please. Remember, I am a member of Mafia staff.

P.S. I don't even remember if there's a solo WD screen or if he just gets the Cult one. It's been a while since I've played / won as a WD.

Yeah, it's pretty rare given the Auditor has no night kill so you need to be the last scum and get a mislynch basically. Or, be lucky with an Arsonist lights up and someone visits the Arsonist that night. Appreciate your help though.

Yes, because all replays beyond sometime last week (whenever Blizzard updated the Starcraft II client to 3.0) are no longer viewable.

As an update, all set with Auditor. Just need Witch Doctor if there is in fact a separate screen vs. the Cult one. I seem to recall there is, but can't remember 100%.
