Hey everyone,

I've been working on an 'The Narrator' for a couple of years (on and off). It's basically a way to run a complex mafia game in real life, without having a narrator.

Any suggestions/feature requests/comments at this point would be super helpful and totally awesome.

Features it has right now
-almost all the roles in SC2 mafia
-ability to share around and play with multiple people
-texting the phone hosting the game adds that phone to the game, and all interaction is handled through text
-right now computers are enabled for single play. They'll vote on 2 randomly selected people and wait for you to vote.
-computer night actions are random and will not target you.
-backend setup for really complex team structures and random roles, but there's no front end to create them yet

If I get enough support, I may work to release an online version of this. It's mostly there all ready.

More people can easily access it yes. Since quite a few dont know how to install external software onto android.

I lowered the target version. Also, for those of you with iphones, you can use this to use it on your computer!

In a few hours, it'll be availble on the playstore for tablets as well(which is what andyroid is) and be available for people that didn't upgrade their OS

App update has been pushed. Texting in should fully work now, with help, and the Home Screen has updated graphics, a theme that will soon propogate the whole game.

right now, i have it mostttlyyy setup, i'm just trying to figure out how to force clients to update when they detect someone has submitted an action, or spoken.

oh duh. i know why that happened. i guess it's not clear that you weren't at your screen.

so when i first was designing the game, i put in the option so that multiple people could use the phone (obviously not applicable or online play). you would switch between people by pressing the top left corner. but it would start in a general information mode first, then you can select yourself on the menu.

i guess when its this online mode where multiple people per phone is disabled, it should auto start on the 'not general mode.'

for now, you can talk to me by restarting app and going to 'continue game'. press your back button and the top right corner should change from general information to your name.

yes of course! it shows you what happened during the night. who did what.

Now, it'd be really cool if people could join my game online. You don't need to wait at your phone, you'll be notified when phases change!
