In Mafia game, a person named Jacklyn stepped up and claimed herself as Sheriff, and said that another person named Gyro is Mafia. The town lynched Gyro and he turned out to be a Mafioso. Then the night came. The Town's doctor was already dead at that point.

After the night was over the town found out that two people were dead...
James, who was killed by Mafia, turned out to be a Vigilante.
And Jacklyn, who was shot by high-caliber gun... she turned out to be the Framer who tried to trick the town into believing her!

How did that happened? Why Jacklyn was shot by Vigilante?

Keep thinking! I will only answer "Yes", "No", or "Doesn't matter".

Did the vigilante intend to kill the "sheriff"
Did the vigilante know the "real" sheriff?

If he didn't intend to, then I'd guess a witch controlled the vig to kill the "sheriff" not realizing that that they were actually a framer with the mafia.
