I stopped using whatsapp for about a year- ridiculous since I travel so much, it would have saved me a lot of money instead of international texting. So I've been using whatsapp as a means of mostly communicating with women. I get numbers from tinder matches, and I just migrate them to whatsapp.

One of the interesting aspects of whatsapp is the inclusion of whether or not the recipient of your message has SEEN the message you sent. This feature was also applied to facebook messaging (For those of you in the know, Facebook bought whatsapp for $19 billion USD mostly in cash going straight to the founders, nice haul). The problem is that if you receive a message the requires a response you're not willing to give, it leaves you in an awkward predicament. You can either:
A - not respond to the message making you look like a dick, or
B - be forced into responding to an uncomfortable message

The "seen" message delivery system is a tricky and useful feature. It will allow women to realize whether or not you're interested in them. It may also be used for mind games 0_0. It can be a test of mental fortitude (don't read the message, don't read the message, don't read the message... oh shit i read the message!)

Another new feature for whatsapp is the inclusion of voice notes. You're essentially able to have a 'free'* phone conversation with someone.
*Message lengths are limited are cost of whatsapp download is $0.99 USD per year

It's great for cross messaging, especially something you can't text. Say an accent, a sound effect, maybe a genuine laugh or a song. Anyway, it's pretty nifty.

Next up will be a raunchy review of Snapchat - (facebook only offered them $3 billion USD, losers :p)

I met this gorgeous woman the other day; she's young, gorgeous, eastern european, educationally motivated (she has a masters, planning on going back for a PHD), career motivated (she works for a huge company over here), AND she's the opposite of a party girl. She came to a party the other day and left to go to a baby shower with local women. She told me about her philosophy on relationships (supporting your partner) etc. she seems very legit.

I'm 25, 4 years out of University.
Longest relationship I've been in was 5 years- a couple years in college, a few years out of college.
I've been enjoying the single life for the last year but it had me realizing exactly what is the point of dating.
I think dating is the means, and marriage is the end goal.
I've been able to meet and understand people from many backgrounds and personalities and I think it's just time for me to stop fucking around and decide what I want.

I love that first part of a relationship. It's all rainbows, sunshine, and butterflies.

I was driving with a couple of friends after picking one of them up. We were stuck in traffic on the hottest day of the year so far here in Dubai. Much to the amusement of the other two, I say, "This is a beautiful road."

We all laughed, they knew I was being unusually optimistic, and it was true. I had just woken up with a beautiful woman and I had felt something I hadn't for a long time. Still, the banal crawling pace across the scorching desert would rarely if ever be called "beautiful"; it was the perfect day.
