Was the blueberry relevant to why the pastries had turned blue?
Did all of the pastries turn blue, or just one singular pastry?
Were the pastries far apart in the oven?(One on one side of the pan, one on the other side, etc)
Were the pastries really close together?
Were the ingredients in the pastries relevant to why they(?) turned blue?

Sooo... If we found out why they turned blue, what are we still looking for?

You still havent figured out why, you know blueberries were the cause, but just having blueberries in a pastry doesn't make it blue, keep asking questions.

They were baking a blueberry pie. They sealed it shut and forgot to poke holes in the top crust, so it built up pressure and exploded!

The pastries grew in the oven causing all of them to form into one giant pastry.

It turned blue because each pastry had 1 or more blueberries in them and they were merged making them larger.

YOU GOT IT man! Applejack made her pastries but put them in the oven without poking holes on the top. So they exploded and all of the pastries turned blue from the blueberries
