Suggestions for increasing site activity

There could be several awards for making quality threads on the site. A "thread of the month" if you will. Awards could be unique badges, rep, in-game points, etc.

What qualities would a "good thread" have?

That would be for the community to decide. My intention was to allow the community to vote on the winners/nominees, should have mentioned that in the op.

here we go.

1. bring back SD
2. delete existing puzzles (over 6mo) so some can be redone and if you have inside knowledge just dont post.
3. a new sub section in GD for games w/ no download. with a new section. (something fun to share? post it there) where you can post links to other games
4. themed discussions where someone argues things like "hitler was ok" an argument if you will(totaly serious) where you apply proof and the other disproves etc.
5. Topic of the day in GD where someone posts something interesting/funny/real that happens.
6. make a "real life" section a new category like site disc, mafia, reports with new categories which can be added later. like homework help or IRL news.

just some thoughts.

The themed discussion is basically the same thing serious discussion was. Not sure why that was removed. Also all the other sections you suggested could just be threads in general discussion lol
